Yukon Transmissions stinks
This vehicle has been in for repairs over the years at least 5 times for transmissions problems - but 36 days after the dealer recommended a "transmission flush" - the entire transmission blows up! Co-incidence? I think NOT! I think it is pretty suspicious that after a recommended procedure of "flushing" is done to have the transmission blow up only after 36 days!!! DO NOT BUY A GMC PRODUCT!!!! Basically, the dealer and GMC complaint department says "too bad, so sad"
WE LOVE IT!!!!

Yukon XL
Lots of room in the trunk AND passenger area. Drives like a car, not like a pickup truck. Much better than our last people mover (a 4 yr. old Suburban). Was impressed with the improvements.
Great truck
Big enough to carry everyone and their gear, but sporty and fun to drive. Great pick up. Very comfortable. Highly recommend if you need max passenger and cargo space.
Didn't meet expectations
We had problems right after we drove the car off the lot. The windshield was leaking, causing a loud noise while on the freeway, which the dealer fixed. We also have the clanging noise in the exhaust that can be heard a block away. GM is aware of the problem but not willing to fix it. After much wrestling and complaining and almost going to a lawyer, the dealership agreed to replace the muffler system at a local repair shop in order to fix the problem. We bought the extended warranty, which originally they said would NOT cover fixing the loud clanging in the exhaust.
