Trim level differences
The 2025 GMC Sierra EV comes in two variations to start the year: Denali Extended Range and Denali Max Range. As you might gather from the names, the major difference between them is range — the Extended Range offers an EPA-estimated 390 miles on a full charge, and the Max Range comes in at 460 miles. Both come standard with two electric motors for full-time four-wheel drive, with the Extended Range's combined output a healthy 645 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. The 2025 Sierra EV debuts as the Denali Extended Range or Max Range. Of the two, we think you should get the Denali Extended Range. You'll get all the fancy stuff that makes the Denali so nice but at a notably lower price. It still has a compelling 390 miles of range too.
