2024 GMC AT4 Lemon Truck
After being a FORD guy for over 35 years, I decided to give GMC a try :/ I drive out with the brand new AT4 on thursday evening, after just 40 miles I wake up in the morning to find a big puddle of trans oil on my driveway. I call the salesman and drive it to the dealership, on the way there almost complete shutdown, engine over heat is on, A/C out!! Engine noise!!, get to the dealership wanting to talk to the manger, to no avail! Salesman and service tech tell me theres nothing to do but put it in to service. Absolutely displeased and irritated with GM dealership,..DO NOT BUY GMC! does Lemon Law apply here?
bait and switch
The truck is OK, but one of the features that i really wanted was wireless android auto. It does have it, but only for the first month. Then they make you buy a $50 per month plan to keep it. Not only that but they sell the service through a shady third party (onstar). I had to block their number because they will call nonstop untill you sign up. I feel ripped off on my $70k truck.

Lemon law'd her... she gone!
Don't buy the diesel, nothing but problems. Had for four months and was in service department six time. Inaccurate low DEF warnings and check engine lights. Multiple electronics needed constant "software updates". Dealer would not address the bad DEF sensor and tank replacement needed. Everything from phantom pedestrians showing on back-up sensors and then slamming on brakes to going into limp mode. Could not safely take on any sort of road trip. Chugged down DEF fluid like cheap champagne on prom night. Service advisor said, "Oh, it will get better at 15-20k miles".. this only a 2-year lease! Service advisor went as far as advising, "I suggest you get another vehicle.". GM put up no contest and got full buy-back + attorney fees. Run from the baby Duramax! Never had any problems with the big HD Duramax's in the past. The lil' diesel engine sucks. I think GM is in real trouble. No longer a future customer of GM. The dealership's lot was loaded with buy-backs cars and trucks btw... not good.

Smooth Ride
The Diesel Denali 1500 truck rides really well. It is much smoother than the Ford 150 and the Denali Diesel has great mileage. I'm getting 20mpg around town and 29mpg on the road. The AAT$ also has smooth ride

Best half ton pickup on the market
I have owned and driven many different half ton pickups over the last 50 years both for pleasure and as a Federal Ranger on and off road. I recently purchased a 2024 GMC 1500 Denali with the 3.0 Duramax. This truck is by far the best one I have ever owned or used. The fit and finish is outstanding plus the gas mileage and towing ratings outrank all the competition this year. I'm getting 32mpg on the highway with this truck plus it pulls my 25ft camper and horse trailer with ease with it's 13300 pound towing capacity. 495 pound torque also helps. My short wife loves the retractable running boards and I love the tailgate that folds down making ingress and egress to the bed very easy. Glad I waited for the 2024 3.0 Duramax with it's steel pistons, higher HP, improved fuel pump and higher tow rating. Bought extended warranty so any major repairs if any will be covered. This truck rides as well as our Cadillac Escalade with better gas mileage. No complaints. Sorry this review didn't allow me to list the Denali truck with the 3.0 litre engine.
