Water leaks into cabin regularly due to sunroof drain tubes CONSTANTLY clogging up. New transmission at 86,000 miles. New radiator at 89,500 miles. Window controls never work. Bose amp burned out. Sway bars had to be replaced, constant rattling. Rear calipers locked up. This is just a partial list of repairs in 18 months. I will NEVER buy another GMC product, EVER.

Poor reliability

Very good interior design and room; very poor reliability. I’ve spent as much on repairs as I did to purchase this car. The struts are a constant problem. There’s a leak that the “water doctor” can’t find; but pours down on the 3rd row, anytime it rains. Aside from that, the interior is comfortable for both my 6’+ husband and my 5’4” self. There is a bit of a blind spot where the windshield and driver’s side window meet; but it’s manageable if one knows to take a 2nd look before leaping. The second row captains seats provide plenty of room for both of my grown children.

Have been driving Suburbans, Yukons, Jimmy's, Envoys and now the Acadia for over 20 years. Without a doubt, GM finally got it right with this Acadia. Nice and confortable to drive and plenty of gadgets to keep me busy.

In the less than a year that we have had our Acadia it has been in the shop 4-5 times! It's obvious that it was very poorly built. The driver's seat broke the 1st week, the wipers broke mid rain storm, the service airbag light, engine light, and oil light have all been on and had to be serviced. And there was a recall that had to be fixed! After all of this I finally get my vehicle back and hit a deer, which did $5500 worth of damage to the front end yet the air bag never went off and on-star never came on! The way it shifts is awful, the noise & vibrations when the windows are down is horrible and I am so sick of this vehicle. Now my tire pressure light is on- it is always something!
