First Car
Man, when my grandfather bought me this car I really didn't like Thunderbirds, but when I got behind the wheel and saw all the stuff it had on it, I thought it was great. The combination of luxury and performance is great. It's so smooth i almost fall asleep when I drive it, but it could haul the mail if it needs to. Pretty great for a first car!
what a car!
after six years with this car i am still amazed at how fun it is to drive.it has power to spare and my average mpg is around 20 or so.i would not hesitate to recommend this car to anyone, especially people who like to drive. i bought a new suv, and was going to use my bird as a trade in but neither my wife or i could stand to part with it. yes, the thunderbird is that good of an automobile.with its combination of power, reliability, standard ammenities, and classy looks, i dont think i'll ever get rid of it!
I loved my Thunderbird!
I bought my V8 t-bird when it had about 85k miles. The O2 oxygen sensors were missing and the dealer explained they needed to be replaced and they did free of charge. I was only 17 years old and drove it - ook it without a complaint! It was very fast on the highway! Very comfortable and roomy backseat. I wish Ford would continue to make the affordable t-bird we once loved soo much!
I love my bird
This is my favorite car of any that I've owned. I bought this bird new in 94 and have been very happy with it. With the exception of a dealer that could not figure out a brake issue when it was new I've had no problems with it at all. This car is a highway cruiser and seems to be happy around 85mph. I can't part with it. I only drive it just to keep it running now, 3000 miles annually.
fun and fast
I bought the car for $200. I've put another $300 in it, mostly cosmetic. I love this car. runs strong after 250000 miles, and still looks great. Plenty of power, faster than a 2009 challenger, will probably go anther 50,000 with regular oil changes. I'm like tony stewart in the commercial where he stares at the car all day.
