Used 2014 Ford Taurus Sedan Consumer Reviews
Large and comfortable
Very impressed with the Style, ride, power and comfort. The only drawback I found was poor visibility when backing up and the rear pillars block your view when trying to look for oncoming traffic .a backup camera should be standard equipment on this vehicle. I was a little nervous when I bought this car not knowing much about it but it did exceed my expectations. If you like large cars I would recommend this vehicle. August I have now put on 7000 miles without any mechanical issues

All trades Jack.
Cons: Cockpit take some getting used to. vision somewhat hampered but acceptable and can be overcome. Rear seating legroom lacking for class size. Transmission shifting response lackluster and premature IMO. PROS: Quiet and smooth ride. Steering/ handling Superb braking Plenty of power for cornering and passing. Fairly low body roll for its size and weight. Trunk space Ambient lighting Contrary to some reviews that are negative on the handling, in my opinion the vehicle handles very well especially at speeds above 60 mph. I use my vehicle fairly aggressively and corners and long runs. I find it is very stable in and out of aggressive cornering. Plenty of power to pass anyone on the road and do it quickly. I would recommend the e85 fuel, but runs well on any. The twin piston front calipers and single-piston rears give very adequate braking power. As far as drivability and performance there's nothing that it does poorly. The interior sum say is lackluster although I'm not very technical and find it ok. Safety features on this thing or incredible there's not too many vehicles I'd feel safer with howling my daughter's around. Regular maintenance and even shocks and struts are easy to get to and work on. I plan to buy another one fairly soon. If you want a little extra horsepower you can always upgrade some parts on it although I'd be wary of the transmission. Just my $.02

Great vehicle for the money.
If the car does not have rear sensors and a rear view camera it is difficult to know what is behind you! Highway driving will yield 29 to 30 MPG, in town driving will drop that to 24 - 26 mpg. Ride is very good and noise is also good unless road is heavily groove. I may well buy a 2019 model, but will likely up grade to a Limited for the Bliss system and the driver assist package.

You gotta love the Taurus!
I've had my Taurus for 6 mos and I love it! Nothing negative to report!!
Makes my work "fun"
This is one great cop car .we have Chargers and a new Chevrolet "Caprice" well I always grab the "police Interceptor " keys first (ford does NOT like when you call it a "Taurus" .. Of course we do not have all the "bells & whistles " not even a "aux input jack " or even remote lock/unlock (like the Charger and Chevy ) ..but this car just flies ,and I beat on it every day ..50K so far and NO problems ..It does have the 3.5 Twin Turbo EcoBoost ..
