Used 2023 Ford Ranger Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
Raptor Lite
The Tremor is akin to the BMW "M-lite" cars in that the handling and brakes are there, just not the rocket motor. Fortunately, Ford sells a performance package that takes the Tremor to the 3/4 mark of the upcoming Ranger Raptor. The cabin is excellent, the body is strong and tough and the suspension is awesome. The B & O stereo and leather seats are must haves. Very fine vehicle. No rattles, no squeaks, 4-wheel drive, plenty of room for my 6'-1" frame. Easy to operate Sync system, comfortable seats. Should have bought two of them...
Better than expected!
I drove a number of mid size trucks earlier 2023 and was impressed with the Ranger. After some time doing my homework decided to by the Ranger. Very comfortable, live the sync software, and I feel like I get more bang for the buck. No issues with quality. There seems to be a massive aftermarket for the parts too.

Ranger trouble
I have had my ranger 28 months, in that time it has spent about 4 months at the dealership trying to make the trans shift properly. It shifts like crap, and always has . Now has 22000 miles on it. Rear differential went out at 8000 miles. After putting new gears in it, it stills makes noise after it gets warm. The rest of the truck seems good, but if you buy a new truck ,and the transmission and rear end are junk, you don't have much. Going to get rid of this one

Ford can do better
I don't recomend to anyone. Where do I start Front bumper 1/4 inch out left to right put on from factory and they didn't see this, back passanger door won't close unless you slam it the passanger door driver side has a visible gap and this was how they delivered it. quality is not job 1. The engine noise above 100 km / hour gets very annoying The milage however is better than the edge only reason it gets 2 stars. the back seat leg room is actually quite painful for an adult on long trips. If you buy this thing for long trips prepare to feel beat up for the next day and a half it's a very firm ride. Off roading is spectacular it just doesn't get stuck. good little work truck not a truck for a commuter you'll just regret every penny spent. The transmission in the city will not gear down you have to do it manually to get it to shift correctly if you don't the vibration makes the muffler rattle. bottom line is I am so dissatisfied with this thing tomorrow I pick up a Ford Edge instead. This isn't even 1 year old and there is no spot left for this thing in the driveway just can't stand it.
