2001 Ford Ranger 2dr SuperCab XL 2WD Styleside SB (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Rolled the same vehicle twice. Although I'm still alive to talk about it (the roof is capable of withstanding a rollover), the vehicle is way too light in the rear. Even with sandbags, the vehicle is too prone to losing traction, breaking loose and rolling over while skidding. Although there is plenty of important legroom, the ground clearance and approach/departure angles are great (allowing you to go places with it), the body is too light and there's no weight and traction in the rear end. Ford really needs to redesign the Ranger to overcome those major setbacks.

Best Features

Decent and quiet engine, OK truck ride and decent steering (does not offset the light and loose rear end though). Good interior.

Worst Features

There has to be a way of designing a truck with both ground clearance and a rear end with traction.
