Best Top Down fun for the price

You cannot get more fun in a car for under $25K. Sticks to the road, just enough torque to feel racy, and a great sound system, with a muscular, punchy styling. This car is solid and remains tight. One exception: squeeky windows that the dealer fixed. But not a single other problem since October 01. Essentially, Ford focused on the things a buyer like me wants, so there may be some paint runs under the trunk, but who cares? Do I wish it had about 40 more horsepower? Yes, its not quite as fast as its looks suggest, but that is being picky. Buy the GT for a few grand more if that is your concern. Overall, a surprisingly great buy.

BEST CAR ON THE MARKET

I have had my Mustang for awhile and it was the best investment i have ever made. It's perfect if you are wanting a car that will really turn some heads or just wanting a all around great car for everyday driving. Everyone I know has let me know how much they like the car, but none of them like it as much as I do. It is and in my mind always will be the greatest car ever produced by any manufacturer. I highly recommend this car to anyone wanting a car with a perfect blend of looks and comfort.

The Mustang Gt is a must have vehicle. Its 260 hp engine will wake up the kid in you quick. Great throttle response, speed and looks.

Fun Drive

I previously owned a 02 6cyl mustang and bought an 02 8 cyl mustang with the 5-speed transmission about a year after selling my 6 cyl. I got it when it had around 100,000 miles and have performed only routine maintenance in 10,000 miles. I was told it had the clutch replaced right before I bought it. I would recommend getting the 8cyl if you have the opportunity as it has been much more fun to drive. The trim was better shape than I would have expected for 100,000 miles. No leaks or rattles however my steering wheel and gear shifter were badly worn. I'm not sure if this was from the previous owner or if this is common. Mach 460 Stereo has great sound. Driver's seat is also comfortable.

I purchased this car with 1,500 miles on it back in late '02. I saw it on the lot, and I wanted it right away. I did want a V8 instead of a V6 for the power and bragging rights of having a V8, but it was $8,000 more for it. I still love this car though. It's now 07 and I have 54k miles on it. I have had no problems yet. I am happy with the way it handles, and of course I love the look. Drivers side door when I open it squeaks now, but wd-40 takes care of it. No biggie. I definitely would get another one again, but that won't happen since I don't like the '05+ look.
