BEAUTY
Bought the car 2 years ago had a couple of problems but I wouldn't trade the car for anything. Have 2 Mercedes, but the Mustang is my favorite.
Very nice car!
I bought this car when it had 76,000 miles on it and it runs great. I have upgraded wheels, exhaust, shifter and a few other bolt-ons. This is the best body style of a Mustang but sadly the motor id the worst ever put in a Mustang. The heads are very resticting and that decreases HP. These car will hang with 99+ Stangs with a headswap. Great car overall.

My Pony
We have never had one problem (knock on wood) with our 1996 Mustang. She has been an absolute dream to own. The turning circle sucks and it's underpowered, but past that, it's been great. We've driven cross country twice and it's been great. Back seat is basically useless for people, but it's just me, hubby, and our cocker spaniel so it fits us just fine!
American Muscle is Fun!
The car is a ton of fun to drive. Power is always right there, but a little more is always a lttile better. So far a couple of mods (exhaust and intake) have awakened the car better than I expexted. Gas mileage isn't great, but if you want 40 miles per gallon, then this is not the car for you. The Mustang is all about power and looking good! I love it!
Think about it
I bought this car new with 8 miles on it. @ 50 miles the tie-rod broke and it cost me $70.00 for a alignment (non warrenty) now the car has 118,324 miles on it and it has well over $6k in repairs..2 sets of Head-Gaskets, 1 Transmission, $800 in emissions work..Tires last about 40k miles and brakes last about 9k miles. dealership is unable to resolve front end problems and they have had it 6 times.
