the original pony car
i just recently bought a 96 mustang convertable and its awesome...The looks are beatiful...the feel and handling is great...and with the top down, you feel free. The performance is pretty good too...and the fuel economy is outstanding...these are some of the mosts beautiful 'stangs ever built.
Happy as can be expected
I was real impressed with this car the first time I drove it. It is much more comfortable than a camaro, in interior design and ride. The design is much more inviting and the seats, which may not slide back for enough offers a very relaxing feel. The car lacks in horsepower, but still has enough power to make me smile when I nail it. Gas mileage is unimpressive, but on the highway on long trips, it is much better than expeceted, in the mid 20s. The noise level is very low. Overall, I think it was a good buy, especially due to all the heads it still turns, even at 6 years old with 90k.

TIRES, TIRES, AND TIRES!!!
I think Ford made a really nice car with this coupe. For the money its a nice looking ride and some peep to it. One thing with these cars is they go through tires BIG TIME! and we drive it very little. Its not the tires I put on it, Its the car itself dragging the tires tread down. At 53K miles its I have replaced 4 sets of tires on it due to poor suspension. Nice looking car and good for a v-6 on gas
Lousy Car
Nothing but trouble, constant repairs including major ones, lousy ride, terrible fuel economy.
Mustang
I love driving it. Smooth ride. Nice looking car. Kick ass sound system. Best air conditioner I have ever seen!
