Blown engine
I bought a 2017 Ford Fusion se, 1.5 liter engine with ecoboost, it had only 25,000 miles on it. 10 days after having it, the engine blew up on the highway while I was out of town. It had a blown head gasket and a blown valve, it required a whole new engine. I haven’t had my car for 4 weeks now, because ford has taken forever to get the warranty together.

Boots, made for walking! That's what Id rather do
I'm going to try my best not to curse in this little review. I'll tell anyone looking at a fusion to run the opposite way. You're only wasting your time and really just throwing your hard earned money down the drain. Before we bought this fusion, I owned a Chrysler 300 2007. And I'm really wanting to kick myself straight in the butt for stupidly selling my first Owned and Paid off car. I got my car and March of this year. The first problems with the piece of crap was shortly within the first 2 months. Like everyones complaints I'm seeing, is from the So called batteries they're putting in these good-for-nothing money pits. I've had a few issues that continue to get worse progressively by the day. This past weekend I've called the tow truck twice. Like the first time it was my battery again. This Only pretty on the outside Ford Fusion has caused me to lose a week of work. And two nights of sleep waiting on tow truck and a technician. Please read your manuals before buying any of these New cars with buttons to turn on your vehicle. If it does not have a key hole, Do Not Buy It. My Best Advice and Warnings! All of these vehicles that are being made this day in time. Technology has went way past its damn limit. Truthfully they're smart to make shitty money making vehicles that will continue to keep you in the shops. Let me to share with you a few things my car has done and still continue to do. Keep in mind I just picked it up today from the dealership. The lemon law I'm trying to hold out for, will be damn near impossible for me to get through. I'm not sure how many complaints you have to have listed in two months time. The one thing I do know, Ford is taking this damn car back in two months and they are paying off my note. We will not be upside down with payments for this Fusion. It shouldn't even be allowed to be made as a toy car on the toddler isle, in my opinion. I was very unhappy with certain things on the car before any issues or problems came about. Without the recalls and issues, I need to reconsider the way things on the car function and Perform. First example would be the windshield wipers. They only have 3 settings that do not even make a difference with a semi-hard rain and set on high. The cruise control has jumped from being Set on 60 and without warning, jumping to 85. It gets even better, just please continue reading this. Sitting at a red light like any other day with my foot on the brake, the car literally shifted itself into park. Same thing except pulling out my driveway in Reverse taking my kids school. My AC has gone in and out. Screen for my camera and radio along with all my buttons on steering wheel and dash, seem to have a mind of Their Own. My car has been making a slight missing noise. Just like many experiences with Ford Vehicles we've owned within the past 10 years. But last week sitting it in my car, I noticed more Crap. When I was idling, it started making a loud pulse Vibrating sound. Ending with the past weeks and my own experience with this Car. I'm not really sure if I will go with Ford after they pay off the car in the next long and Dreadful weeks to come. I have really considered a tundra truck that I would settle on being a couple years older then a brand new 2017. Honestly I don't have to have anything brand new and I really I don't want one. If only the world was like it was when life was really still considered good. Back then vehicles we're actually made to last for many years to come. And they we're also a lot safer then these nice plastic button-operated good for nothing Toy Cars. My last statement/request. Only when these vehicles with no key holes that operate off of buttons become the first flying vehicles, only then I might consider owning one.

Surprising Upgrade
I had a 2010 Ford Edge that i traded in due to it getting a little long in the tooth. It was a base model which I was fine with. Anyways, I went down to the Dealership after doing an online app and after a pretty interesting buying experience, I took home my Ford Fusion SE w/tech package, in Black on Black :) My favorite part of the car is of course the styling and the LED daytime headlights which look soooo cool when the sun is setting. It was a pleasant upgrade to the Edge with the Technology. I like SYNC 3(not love) and I like the clean look of the dash. Now I do have a few gripes I hate to mention but I have to be honest with other buyers: SYNC has been glitch only twice, in the 4 months I’ve had it. There was one small occasion when I got in my car and my music would not play from my phone…But it worked eventually after a restart. My 2nd week having the car, my windows did a funky ghost thing where they would go up and go back down to where I had it originally sitting. Was very annoying, had to take it to the dealership and they told me the motor was bad and has to be replaced. Now Ford did do a good job of getting me in another vehicle and getting the window motor replaced quickly. My only other gripe(not sure if this is even something to mention given the class of the car) is the powertrain. i personally don't like the engine or transmission and I guess this may be coming from the fact I came from an Edge with significantly more power. But i feel the engine could be slightly more powerful and the transmission could be a little more smoother. But again, as mentioned, this is a base engine so i guess you get what you pay for. Also, the gas mileage is so so.... Otherwise, i really love my fusion, i truly hope to have many awesome years with my car, despite the fact that I am racking up miles like a truck driver. I absolutely appreciate all the cool features, touch screen, trip computer and the black on black is so very sexy with the styling of the car. Although, it has room for improvement, I am very happy and grateful for my car. I look forward to getting more Ford products in the future. :). thanks for reading.

Great upgrade from the Titanium
Having upgraded from my 2013 Titanium, I am well pleased. I find there is little to be displeased about in this car. I am a big Apple fan, but I find I prefer the Sync 3 to CarPlay. Since the bluetooth is available for music, podcast, etc., I don't find using the CarPlay directions that important, expecially since I live in Montana and am often out of cell range when traveling in the mountains. It's a great car to drive, handles very well in the mountain curves and terrain. Being 5'7", the seats are perfect for me, I sure for taller individuals it could be frustrating. The interior of the car is very impressive. I love the small improvements to the exterior (LED lights) and the front grill. Thank you Ford, for a great car!

POS this car made me miss a Pinto
The is a severe hesitation when you first step on the gas, such much so that if you need to move out of the way in a hurry it's probably better to jump out the car and sacrifice it. I've had some slow cars in my time, but seriously it's weight compared to it HP you would do better walking. It's not even a great commuter as is evident with it's abysmally low MPG. I forgot to mention I was actually passed by a Prius the other day; A PRIUS!!!!WTF
