Not comfortable and is way too big. I regret buying this car, and can’t wait till I am financially ok to say bye bye. Don’t save your seats with the buttons, because once you push the button it moves ALL your mirrors! Seats are uncomfortable..... The gas mileage is horrendous and i love going through the car wash to give my car a bath aswell as myself getting a bath too since the wonderful sunroof leaks. I was driving on i85 in Atlanta one day and the entire sync system turned off and went black. Terrifying right? I thought the car was gonna stop, and turn off as im going 80 miles an hour on a major highway. The tire pressure light is always on, and i’ve had the computer reset multiple times. The tire pressure light beeps several times when I get in the car. Love it... I think this will be my last ford. My 2007 honda CRV was more reliable than this garbage and had 100,000 miles on it.

Renting a Flintstone Automobile next time

The steering is over-sensitive. It's ridiculously kneejerk. It doesn't handle dry roads very well, much less snowy ones. It has the comfort of a barrel with lawn mower wheels.

Great Deal for the Money

Got my 1.5 Ecoboost SE with Technology package new as a 2017 leftover in early 2019 for $10K off of MSRP. Yes, I’ve had the steering wheel bolt recall and a couple of trips to service for the one-touch windows being fussy, but that is it for negatives. Also, plenty of Ford dealerships around, and 5 yrs of roadside assistance is included. Steering, ride, and handling are like a much more expensive car, and the safety and technology is great with Sync3 and Apple CarPlay. I believe there are 10 speakers with the Tech pack, and sound quality is pretty good! Trunk is fairly large, and with the split-folding seats - we fit all types of large items easily (strollers, bikes, pets, snowboard and camping gear, etc... Dual power seats and dual climate control up front is a nice touch at this price point, and I’ve gotten lots of complements on the styling. Acceleration and fuel economy are nothing to boast about, but are fine given the overall package and price paid (20 city/34 highway). Rear seat is comfortable, though not spacious, for large adults, but the rear air vents are a plus. All in all, I’d buy again for what I paid, but at full sticker price I might consider a KIA Optima or VW Passat.

Great car

I owned a 2010 Lincoln MKZ but lost it in a flood. I replaced it with a new 2017 Fusion leftover still in the showroom in 2019. The two cars rest on the same platform. I loved the Lincoln but I made such a good deal on the Ford I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. They made many subtle but important improvements to this car, and because of the advanced technology I don’t miss any of the additional options I had on the Lincoln. It has more front interior room, better display and center console layout, rear air and heat vent, better brakes, and acceleration from the 1.5 liter turbo that almost matches the 3,6 V6 in the Lincoln. Gas mileage went from 25mpg to 36mpg on the highway. Shifting is extremely smooth. The cruise control is easier to use and the transmission down shifts to maintain speed when you coast down hill. Before this the only cars I owned that did that were Chrysler products. I had the premium sound system in the Lincoln but this system is crisper with full sound frequency. Handling is great with quick response and no surprises. Very quiet cabin and minimal road noise. All in all a well rounded car that exceeds what you would expect in this price range. Review list says SE 2,5 but mine is an SE 1.5 turbo!

Fun, but unreliable

Bought the car in January 2018, and now in September of 2020 we are trading it in because of continuous powertrain problems. At 12k miles the car had a cracked coolant hose, leaving me without the car for a week. Then we had an issue with the car randomly dying once while leaving my street in the cold... no issues found. Did it again the next winter, randomly... no issues found. Car started idling quite rough with too much condensation from the exhaust for about a year, but each time I mentioned it to the dealers we were assured it was fine. June 2020, I started it remotely, and by the time I walked outside my entire driveway was engulfed in white smoke. Had it towed to the dealer and they had to replace the top half of the motor at 39k miles. A month later we got the car back, and drove it for another month until the car died during rush-hour on a large, main-road. That was the last straw for us because that could've happened on the highway, and we have no faith in our particular vehicle to be a safe car. The dealer reports that the whole engine most be replaced, but is helping us get out of the car and into a different model. Besides the major engine issues, the car is a lot of fun, and you won't find an awd twin turbo v6 sedan with heated/cooled seats, heated wheel, remote start, and a moonroof for the same price as this. It is well equipped for the price, and handled deep snow better than anything else I've owned. The interior build quality is ok, but we bought a Ford, so we weren't expecting mercedes or porsche-like build quality.
