Used 2016 Ford Fusion S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Great car for the price
I bought the base line model and so far really like it. I traded in a 2005 Altima, that I have been driving for 11 years. This car feels solid and well built. No issues to speak of. The sync features work great. I cant speak towards reliability yet, as it only has about 700 miles.

New Car Should Not Have Problems
Rented this car from Enterprise with only 8,000 miles. Was driving it on the highway when a wrench light came on and the accelerator lost all power. I could only brake and was forced to the side of the rode. I let the car sit awhile and then started it back up without any problems. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened a day later. This car clearly has an engine problem related to the intake or gas. There is no excuse for a brand new car to have any issues, especially related to the engine. I will never purchase a Ford.

The base model isn't really a "base model"
I've had my fusion just a little over 2 weeks and I'm in love with it. Even though it is a base model, it still has a lot of cool features and it really isn't a "base model"

Very Impressed!
Other than a throttle control recall this base model is everything I expected. Performance is very adequate (for a 70 year old), gas mileage is unbelievable (40 MPG on on a drive from Las Vegas to Detroit (I never go over 70 MPH) ride and handling is the best I have ever had. The standard equipment is beyond my expectations. I had 2 Malibu's and they just didn't measure up to the Fusion in price or standard options. This Fusion is hands down the best value for the money in my 50 years of car ownership.
