Great Car For The Money!!

After looking at everything out there in this class, there was no comparison to the quality and extra features that Ford put into this car. I drive 104 miles round trip to work every day and this car is making LA traffic more enjoyable. The road noise is minimal and the handling, braking, bluetooth and Sync all make me feel very safe. I was looking to buy a 2009, but after seeing the new dash design and all the great improvements to the 2010, I had to have it. The power of the 2.5 vs the 2.3 is obviously better. I am very happy with the 28 mpg I am getting in the stop and go city driving. I can't wait to take it on a long road trip to see the mileage. All in all I have no complaints so far.

Had a Ford 18 years ago in high school. Since then not very excited about the line up. My buddy who works for Ford said "just get in to one" I test drove the Fusion Sport and was so impressed I purchased it. The only negative was the Eagle RSA tires. You give the fusion some gas and the tires squack instead of grab. I immediately replaced them with my favorite tire Michelin Pilots. Climate control buttons could be angled better. Fun car pretty good gas mileage (27 HWY, 18 city so far). Definitely a car to consider.

Glad the wife prevailed

2010 Ford Fusion SE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M)

Replacing a Passat 1.8T, we were headed once again for the imports when the missus urged a look at the one domestic that didn't ask for handouts last year. Going up against Accord LX-P and Camry LE, the Fusion SE (I4 2.5 L) was a surprisingly easy choice based on price, features, styling and yes, ride. The first 4000 mi have us feeling great about the decision. Except when cold, the 6-speed auto is responsive and smooth. Mileage is quite good (23/29) when we're mellow. Handling is, well, it's not a Passat (taut) or even an Accord (cultured), but it's firm and secure and beats the Camry (boring) all to heck. This is a quiet, comfortable, well-engineered and (so far) reliable vehicle.

Test-drove several brands but chose Fusion as best of breed, excellent buy for price. Good power altho gearing is too widely spaced. Accelerator and brakes are sensitive & take some getting used to, to avoid jerky starts/stops. Very quiet ride, some tire noise on certain surfaces.

I wanted to write this review to let others know that i am pleased with this car. I have driven other midsized cars and i have to admit Ford did a good job on this one. I do a lot of highway miles and this car is DRIVERS CAR. Comfort, smooth shifting 6 speed automatic, 8 way power seat, and more! all these features tailor to the driver and even the passenger gets a power seat on the SEL. Fuel is good on a midsized, electric steering is easy to steer in parking lots, but still feels good on highway as well. Highly recommended. The SEL trim is worth the extra $1,200 to upgrade from the SE. GO FORD!!
