Why does Ford want to kill the Fusion??????
I'd much rather drive the Fusion than a Taurus and EVERY one doesnt want an SUV or a Focus. It has PLENTY of room, luxury level equipment, is casket quiet and such an upgrade over my 2012 Fusion SEL. It wasnt a hybrid, but was a great car from 22k to 145 miles in less than four years. I bought this Hybrid at 47k miles from Carmax. Its a former rental, but SURELY was kept well. I do wish the MPG rating was higher, but I do half highway and half city driving and the car is FUN to drive. I've done 44-46. Long trips will probably do more gas engine, but I've done purely electric at 75 mph. I love the safety and security features- like the remote start PLUS the auto locking if I have the key fob on me. Sync3 is great, but I wish it had the Waze built in, not through Android Car play. I plan on buying the 2019 Titanium CPO. I'm thinking only the dealer should do maintenance though, as some components are sensitive. Update 3/28/2020!!! Ive had the car for over a year. I've put almost 50k miles on the car. ZERO regrets. Yes, leaving the outlet plugged up melted the hole a little bit. Uhm...I have yet to change brakes... I guess I will in the next six months. I bought better tires than the run-flats Carmax put on them. I will go back to run-flats. I cant find a real fault. EVERYTHING works as decidedly it needs to. I guess the only thing i dislike is the long drive. Fuel economy in ANY hybrid will go down dramatically. Its pure science. Why? 75 mph for 10-`12 hours straight leaves no room for real charging and use of the battery. I still averaged 35-38 rolling over the hills and mountains of TN and KY. My BMW 530 only did about 30 on the same drive and the 2012 Fusion I had did 33. Im looking to upgrade this year.

Great Comfort
Driven a fusion on two very long trips and was a very comfortable and convenient ride; loved the car and willing to lease one.. Not super performance but it’s enough to have a safe overtaking..

Great drive. Great economy.
The last of the really well designed hybrid sedans. Economical to purchase. Fuel consumption averages over 40 mpg. Handling quality is superior,
Love the car
This is my first hybrid and I love it. I drive 90 miles roundtrip to work and back and this car is great. Bought mine for $12,000 and feel I got a very good deal for only having 40,000 miles.

Two year owner
Sorry to see Ford is not going to produce this car in the future. A new head unit was installed and now the problems that we had in the past have disappeared. The car is comfortable to drive, but don't look for performance. This car is geared for high mileage, not performance. It's an OK stop gap until EV's become more prominent. After one year the car does have small problems like a squeaky trunk. Trunk was fixed under warranty. My biggest annoyance now is the lack of clarity of the backup camera. Compared to my BMW backup camera it is like a 2 mega pixel camera vs a 20 mega pixel camera. Also the window switches are made for people who have long arms since they are situtuated too far ahead. I have also changed some of my ratings either downward or up. For example I changed the Value rating from four stars to five. For the price you get a lot of features. Fuel and maintenance is also excellent. Just the resale value is probably poor.
