Crappy MPG

Averaged 33 MPG through first 5K miles. I have driven as efficiently as possible, achieving perfect acceleration, braking and cruising scores. There have also been several recalls and the car has only been out for 8 months. Loved the car overall, but felt duped by Ford. I just WON a Lemon Law case on this car and am turning in the car for a full refund. There is also a Class Action lawsuit out there for MPG fraud for those who continue to act like this is not a real problem.

Ford worked the kinks out of the Fusion Hybrid

I've owned 3 Fusion Hybrids, starting with the first one they released in 2009 (2010 model). They've had a LOT of problems and issues with the Fusion Hybrid along the way. My 2nd Fusion (2013 model) was in the shop 16 times for warranty work. Fuel economy was always much worse than claimed and build quality was abysmal. However, I kept coming back to this model and finally Ford seems to have identified and fixed all of the problems with this vehicle. I currently own a 2016 model and it has been great. Compared to the first two Fusion Hybrids I've owned, this car gets better mileage (avg. over 40 mpg in all driving combined), is significantly more quiet, has no rattles, squeaks or wind noise, Navigation system works great and the voice recognition system is the best of any car I tried so far. Same for the backup camera - the quality is superior to any other vehicle I've tried (many), even at night. For the price, the Ford Fusion Hybrid is one of the best buys for this kind of vehicle, now that Ford seems to have worked out all of the bugs. Can't comment on the plug-in (Energi) version though.
