Transmission service nightmare!
I bought this car with 3 miles on it. Once it hit 5k, I started to experience problems with acceleration (delayed throttle) then it escalated to stuttering, shifting problems, shuddering, stalling, everything that you experience with a car with transmission problems. Since then I have replaced the TCM 3 times and the clutch at least once. The dealership in Lewisville works with me, but they are not very helpful. A few times they drove it and said the couldn't find anything wrong when it was OBVIOUS that something was wrong. I am an Uber delivery driver and my car now has 89K on it. It is now out of the extended warranty. Please note that the Focus for 2013-2016 had a class action lawsuit with Ford but this car, even though it has the SAME PROBLEMS, is not a part of this class action. This is the worst car i've ever owned...a true nightmare. This car is either going to kill me or make me kill myself (jk)!

Fun and economical to drive
Handling is fun, yet the ride is surprisingly comfortable. Heater is wonderful This is 1.0 litre with 6-speed automatic. Brand new but first two tanks have been disappointing mileage. 33 highway. (My 2.0 liter automatic did 36-40 on same trip but had the dual clutch transmission from hell in it) UPDATE: Mileage significantly improved 28-31 in town and 36-38 highway. Pulls hill very well in cruise; seldom shifts down even in MO hills Body very strong; no signs of creaks, groans etc. Jan 2020 No change. Zero squawks on body, mechanical or electric Heater very strong; a/c more than sufficient; love the Auto a/c feature 19 months in, not a visit to dealer or squawk; did change to Amsoil.

Great so far
I have only had the car for 2 months / 2,000 miles, but I really like it so far. It handles great, accelerates well, and gets good gas mileage (2.0L non-eco). The sound system is very nice, and the Bluetooth connection works very well (Sync3). I've never has a car with the sunroof or moon roof or whatever they call it, but I've had it open a few time and it's kind of fun and completely unnecessary. The ambient lighting color selections are the same way - I feel guilty liking the feature so much because it is completely unnecessary, but it's kind of cool. I like the styling, especially 17" painted aluminum wheels. The $4K rebate moved the price point well ahead of the other cars I looked at (Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte, Chevy Cruze, Toyota Corolla). The back seats are a bit tight - my wife (5'5") is ok, but my sons (6'1" and 5'10") are a little cramped. The floor mats are cheaper than the average new car mats, but those are the only negatives I have come across so far.
