Used 2014 Ford Focus Consumer Reviews
I love my focus
I bought my car a few months back and while it may be a bit soon to review I have to say I love this car. I can fit a disturbing amount of shenanigans into my focus. I have 2 children a well over 6 foot husband and our family dog. We all manage to pile in with room to spare. It handles much better than my previous cars on the highway. All my cars have been 4cyl hatchbacks and I have to say that EVERY one of them was miserable at highway speeds. The focus doesn't even sweat at the 75mph limit here in KS. I read the awful reviews of the automatic and I opted for the familiar old 5 speed instead. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for small cheap car with tons to offer.
2014 Ford Focus se
Well I love my car. But it's transmission sucks. It's not sporty when it should be and it isn't efficient when it should be either. It only gets 24mpg and I have to replace the shitty tires already. But I get a lot of compliments on the looks and the interior. And it does drive so damn good.

The Best compact car in reasonable price
My first time to own Ford, most Asian people scared American cars for less reliability but not like the 1990s, now American cars even better than the Japanese cars in both quality and comfort. The Focus beats the famous nameplates of Civic and Corola in both power and comfort and much cheaper price. I love my Focus; my wife and my son also love to drive it than my Altima. Small but when I drive, I feel like big car-- quiet, smooth, and quick to turn the corner or on the free way and great fuel economy. And I paid the lowest price for the year end 2014 clearance. I will buy the other one for my son when he go to college next year.
Great value in a sporty package!
Overall, I really like my Focus Titanium hatchback. It has everything that make it a comfortable place to drive over short or long distances and it gets great MPG. It's a solid ride on the hwy at high speeds and was a good combination of value (mpg and price) and comfort (leather, nav, push button start, other tech).
Comfortable, reliable car with great mileage
I am very pleased with my 2014 Ford Focus. I get great gas mileage: 31 to 38 mpg in town with AC on and 41 to 48 mpg highway driving with AC on. I was a bit concerned with the slight shudder I sometimes get from the transmission when accelerating from a stop. The first service technician I talked to about this said it was 'normal' for the Focus. I found this explanation unsatisfactory. During another stop at the dealership, another technician explained the mechanics of the Focus transmission and then the shuddering made sense. With almost 17K miles on my car, it has proven to be very reliable, comfortable and economical. I will definitely be purchasing a Ford the next time I shop for a car.
