Used 2005 Ford Five Hundred Consumer Reviews
most underrated car
I have been very impressed with the Five Hundred. This car has tight handling like a sports car and rides like a much larger and more expensive car. Gas mileage is respectable 19.2 mpg local driving with air conditioning on. I don't understand why Ford is keeping this such a secret.
great car
This car belongs to my wife. I get to drive on longer trips. Fuel mileage is from 22 to 32 mpg. In the past she has owned Cadillacs and Lincolns, but this auto is at least as good as any that I have owned. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have luxury and a great car
Good after 12,000 miles
I have driven the 500 for about 8 months and have about 12,000 miles on it. So far it's all good. The AWD worked great in the snow, the ride is good and the interior is excellent. No rattles or problems at all. It has all the advantages of a luxury car. I looked very seriously at the some high end caddies and BMWs and am very pleased I did better with my 500.
Ok, my turn
I'm constantly receiving compliments on my 500's sophisticated styling and classic/ traditional look. I like the 500 best in black, with the black interior. It feels just as cozy and comfortable as other luxury cars that I have been in. The ride is almost butter smooth on the freeway. I've often found myself cruising at 80 mph, and didn't know i was driving that fast. It really is a tremendous value, because a top-of the line 500 runs thousands less than its comparably equipped competition cars.
Head Turner
We are pleasantly surprised at the ride and fuel efficiency this Ford Five Hundred AWD Limited has. Also the performance gives the driver a feel of being in a high-end vehicle for a whole lot less money. This auto for the price is a must have vehicle in its class. We test drove a lot of vehicles and we are very happy with its overall results. People aways stop and ask what kind of vehicle it is.
