I love this car! It is safe and roomy. Being 6 feet tall I have no problem getting comfortable even in the second seat. The interior design is classy and the command seating is great in traffic. We made a great choice!

My Ford Five-Hundred Limited has a spacious interior and a very smooth ride. The command seating gives me the feeling of having an advantage over drivers who are seated closer to the ground in other cars. I'm finding that my mileage is hovering around the low estimate of 19mpg in the city, but on the open road it gets well into the estimated 29mpg range. Curves are handled deftly and the interior "noise" is less than I've experienced with other Fords. I feel there is great value in my car considering its relatively low price and so far I'm quite pleased with it. Reverse sensors & front and side airbags increase my confidence regarding the safety of the vehicle.

Since we purchase the 500 there have only been two others in our community. We have been stopped several times so people can check it out and get our comments, which are very favorable. The only thing bad about buying a new model is the insurance rating. On our trade in Buick Le Sabre Limited it was rated (11) $281 every 6 months. Our Ford Explorer (11) $281 every 6 months and the 500 (17) $465 every 6 months and that is with 5 agencies that we checked with. Another thing is when we were looking of the 500 Limited it seems 80% of them had a moon roof that was a $900 option we didn't want and it took close to a week for our dealer to find one without. Other then that we love the 500.

Almost bought an Altima

While on my way to purchase a new Altima, I thought I'd stop by the Ford dealer close by. After one drive sitting higher up off the road I did not even go back to the Nissan dealership. Easy to get in and out of. I've had customers tell me they thought I was driving a Mercedes. While the power is average, in 90%+ of normal driving it is just fine. Averages close to 27 MPG on highway, and the room is GREAT. All in all a car worth the $$.

We just purchased this vehicle so this may be too soon to rate it. However, this is a useful new car owner impression. We were sold on the safety ratings we read and what the dealer showed us. At 6'3" 195lbs i really appreciate its roominess both in the front and back seats. The trunk is incredibly big. Yet in spite of all this room, the car doesn't look that big. It is also easy to get in and out of as the seat is at just the right level. Driving home from the dealer on two lane country roads the mileage showed 30 mpg. It rides extremely well. It handles great. I had to swerve to avoid a car that pulled out of a driveway and it responded great.
