When I first saw the new 500 I had to go test drive them. We drove the SEL and the Limited. I noticed the difference between cloth and leather and decided to purchase the top of the line Limited. I have had nothing less than a great experience so far. I have even had people come up to me and ask me all about it. I've even had people, when stopped at a stop light pull up along side me & wave to get my attention. I open the window and they say wow is that the new Ford? I thought it was a Mercedes until I got closer and saw the Ford emblem. My car is the Merlot Metallic Red with Pebble leather interior and the controls on the steering wheel make it easier to change different things. Love It!

Ford 500

The Ford 500 is one terrific automobile. The AWD handles snow and ice with aplomb and the CVT is a real treat, though it did whistle slightly for the first 1,500 miles. I give very high marks for comfort in front or back and I am over six feet. The sound system is excellent, but the six disc in-dash CD, as with most implementations, is awkward and slow. Overall, I would recommend this car to anyone who is more concerned with substance and value than hot design and blazing acceleration.

Great Car!

I am a salesperson and at my last client lunch a comment was made - "wow, I thought your car was one of those $80K German imports!" That made me proud of my new purchase. The car looks great, drives well and gets much better gas mileage than my family van. Another comment from a friend was wow, that car has a nice engine!

Highway gasoline mileage has exceeded 31 miles to gallon. What I like best is the ease of entry and exit. I do not have to have a handle to help me to get out. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND THE EASE OF ENTRY AND EXIT IS MOST IMPORTANT!. Have had more compliments on this car than any I have ever owned since 1959 Galaxy .

More than enough power, best mpg

This car hit the mark, great mpg, great comfort and practical performance at a great price. I have had the E500 and everything in between. Ford's 500 is the best, period. As gas prices hit $2.20 I laughed to the bank getting 31+ hwy. Avg is 26.7 during my 45 mile commute to work.
