This Truck deserves a capital T! yes we bought it used with high miles but with the Diesel power stroke 570 lbs of torque we can haul anything! We needed a safe, powerful truck to move massive amounts of rock, earth & machinery. Not to mention a Silver streak for winter touring...and it does...also we just had a baby daughter and wanted something safe and dependable. I have run Ford trucks to build by business and will continue. I trust American Ford trucks which have been the powerhouse back bone for our company, and works almost as hard as I do...and that's hard to do! Good job Ford, I hired you for dependable, hard, work and thats what I got! - Joel G.A. Fonte`

Pure junk, the 6.0 will fail !!! not an "IF", but a definite "WILL", they just cant help themselves.

Test drove it and it was s-o-o nice I couldn't believe it was 1-ton. Has all the options, (that I didn't really need, but sure turns it into a luxury vehicle). Towed a 7-8000# trailer 2000 miles and averaged 12.2 mpg. Power was good. May add a hi flow air cleaner to get a little more. REALLY a nice truck.

Bought ours 15 years ago. Started with 26k miles, now has 102k. I've towed a 38' fifth wheel trailer from Virginia to the West Coast five times and twice into Canada. Never an issue with its 6.0 as I had the cooling system power flushed after buying and added a filter. Up and down mountains and through deserts, all at 70 mph and more. I'm certain we were over grossed many times as well. Extremely comfortable with a load, but not so much empty. Using a fuel additive helps injector longevity and keeps the noise down. Since we've sold our 5er, we'll be parting ways soon, but this has been the best truck I've ever owned.
