Ordered my '21 Lariat Supercab 5.0 FX4 4x4 in Dec of '20 and received the truck (finally!) in April '21 - wanted a loaded Lariat Supercab which meant I had to special order since no dealer in the entire country had anything like what I wanted in stock - they apparently think if you're not buying a Crew Cab then you want a base model XL. Really happy with my choice of cab and engine, and loving the autonomous driving features and 360 degree camera setup - the 5.0 (especially with the 3.73 gears) has plenty of power and surprisingly has been getting 25+ mpg on the freeway at 80mph which is better than the v6 GMC Canyon I traded in used to get. I'm 6'1" and 250lbs and think the seats are plenty comfortable for long distance highway trips (which I use the truck for quite a bit) - seeing other reviewers saying the seats are too tight and uncomfortable but I'm definitely not finding that to be the case and I'm a pretty decent size guy...they must be a lot bigger than me apparently. Since I rarely ever use the back seats I really like that Ford still offers a Supercab model with rear suicide doors that are great for throwing random gear in the back and still usable for the few times a year that I have more than 2 people in the truck - drove my parents around for a couple days recently when they came to visit and got no complaints about the comfort or leg room of the back seats so they must not be too bad! Only things I've had issues with is the transmission has a tendency to shift rough once in a while (no rhyme or reason, totally random) and the factory Good Year Wrangler 18" tires are almost to the wear bars already after only 16k miles...hoping they'll make it through the winter but they're definitely wearing way faster than I'd expect especially since I've for the most part been using the truck for long distance freeway road trips with just the 2 of us and our dirt bikes and luggage or commuting around town with just me and a few tools in it so nowhere near the max load rating. She'll be getting a flash tune which will hopefully tighten up the shifting as well as a leveling kit with a set of 33" BFG Radial All-Terrains once the stock tires are totally dead (won't be long!) which should take care of the couple minor issues I have with the truck...TLDR if you're looking for a new truck you can't go wrong with the new F-150!

I recently bought a new Ford F-150, 4X4. It has the 2.7 Ecoboost motor. It’s somewhat fuel efficient! For Blue Oval’s smallest motor, this truck gets easily motivated!!! It came with the FX4 package, et cetera! I picked the Extended Cab version! It’s plenty roomy for 6 average size people! It’s equipped with the 3.73.1, rear axle ratio,…plus towing equipment! It’s more powerful than a couple of my, then new, Ford Mustang GT’s! Top speed is, obviously, less than Mustangs! Other than that, for just less than 1,000 miles, it’s a sweet running machine! Congratulations, Ford!
