Used 2019 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Consumer Reviews
Enjoying the Ride
This truck is tough and rugged but with a smooth as silk ride. I didn't get the fancy extras but this truck fits mine and my families needs.
Decent Truck, First Ford
I purchased a 2019 Ford XL STX 4X4 Crew Cab with 2.7 ecoboost. Friends of mine had a similar trucks(XLT) and just purchased a new one because he liked the 2.7 liter. My dealer experience was very good. I have had no issues with the truck, averaging 20.5 highway and city driving. The shifting of the transmission is smooth, the truck accelerates smartly and feels about the same as my 5.3 liter Chevy Extended cab. Seats are very comfortable and the cab is quiet. I have adapted to the auto start/stop just making sure I lift my foot off the brake and she gets going. The Sync three is easy, and I have it connected to the Ford Pass. Plenty of room in the Supercrew and even my hunting buddies(6'3") fit in the back seat with out knee scrunching. Towed my 16 foot boat and trailer last weekend getting 19.5 mpg. Pulled the same as my Chevy did. I use my truck as a daily commuter in Milwaukee traffic from the suburbs, taking my trips to Northern Wisconsin. I averaged 17.5 with my Chevy, and getting 20.5 with this F150, 3000 miles and no issues. Easier to park than the Chevy and the back up camera helped me line a trailer up perfectly first time with the ball perfectly under the trailer tongue. My wife likes to drive it and feels comfortable and confident in it. Turning radius is tighter than the Chevy was also. I like my trucks straight forward and capable. So far this truck is everything I needed. Good looking, good gas mileage, pulls trailer and snowmobiles without dogging, and plenty of room. Bluetooth phone and satellite radio. Put the transmission in sport mode and you will surprise people with how quick it is. Put it in Eco Mode and I was able to squeeze 24.5 mpg at 75 mph. My vehicles typically run over 200,000 miles. Take care of them, do the maintenance and read the manual before you set foot in the cab and you just might fine that your vehicles do all kinds of wonderful things. When my lease is up I will get another one, adding limited slip and heavy towing, but really, she's fine just the way it is.

Gas mileage falls way short of published numbers.
Love my 2019 Lariat 5.0 but gas mileage sucks. Rated at 22 in highway gives me 18 at best with very moderate driving. I have 2000 miles on it.

F150 XLT Towing Champ!
The Ford Max Tow package with the Twin Turbo 3.5 is worth every penny and really performs. The 2019 F 150 is again outstanding. I loved my 2012, but this is a major step up. You cannot beat a Ford, and you absolutely cannot beat an F150!

MPG is off.. a lot! 2.7L
I'm going to keep this simple. I like my truck BUT for what I paid I should love it. Transmission shifts hard into reverse especially when cold. My sister's civic has a nicer radio and it was half the price. My biggest gripe is gas milage. I get 21 on highway on a great day with wind at my back going downhill. I average 19.5 otherwise. Sticker says 24.. Ha! Jokes on me.
