Used 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Consumer Reviews
Nice truck, but "nickel and dimed" repairs...
I own a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5L Ecoboost that has 62k+ miles...very minimal off roading..I have loved the design, space and generally smooth ride. My only complaint is that I feel it has 'nickel and dimed' me to death with repairs...from new wheel bearings, sunroof plastic part broke, faulty rear distance sensor, faulty tailgate latch recall, etc. Thank goodness I bought an extended warranty at the time of purchase...will definitely reconsider whether I buy another Ford in the future..probably look at a Dodge Ram or Toyota. Unfortunately, I'm not sure Ford "tough" is what they say...

POS Ford Quality
I wanted to believe in American ingenuity, capability and most important to me, quality. Bought the truck with 60k miles on it. In the shop needing new cam phasers already. Granny is slipping between 7 and 8 and the touchscreen is acting like a Microsoft Windows phone from 2010. I came from a Yoda, thinking in part that it is un-American to drive a foreign pickup. I'll update this review later, but Deereborn, MI needs to beat Toyota quality and erase the F.O.R.D. acryon we know so well. 1. FOUND ON ROAD DEAD, 2. FIX OR REPAIR DAILY.

Best selling but not necessarily the best overall
Don't get me wrong...I really like my F-150. I have had other trucks (Dodge, Chevy) and the competition is very stiff (much like the ride of my Ford. Overall, it is a great truck...the reason I bought it was because I got a deal I couldn't pass up, otherwise, I would have shopped around. I like driving it...it has great handling and the room inside the Crew Cab is crazy...especially for the back seat passengers...they could be sitting at home in a lounge chair and have less room...probably the thing I find the least pleasing is the ride. I had a Dodge 1500 that had a way better ride when hitting bumps. Would I buy another one? Sure...if the deal is right, I'd be back on the Ford bandwagon!!

Disappointed with Engine problems (EcoBoost)
20,000 miles began a knocking sound every time I started the truck. Got pretty bad so I took it in and was told it was the Phasers. Had to look it up, and apparently this is a common problem, but not a minor one. They have to take the top of the engine apart to get to these things and took 2 weeks in the shop. At 26,000 miles, guess what yes the knocking has returned. Took in and told that parts are on back order and might be two months before I can get it fixed. Was also told I can still drive it, but every time I start it knocks pretty badly. I find it hard to believe that it isn't bad for the engine when anything is knocking. Truck has been really nice, but this engine problem is one that I can't get past. Will be trading it in for a Chevy or Dodge and not happy that Ford isn't helping me with it quicker.

Unreliable beauty
My 2018 Ford f150 v8 xlt was beautiful but after 4 months of ownership, the check engine light came on. The dealership stated it was losing oil and was at the point of locking up. The dealership associated the problem with a technical service bulletin and replaced the engine (with an identical engine). The truck, with it's new engine ran great but I was fearful of the same problem happening again so I traded it in. Overall I was disappointed with the truck and myself for not doing a more thorough review. A hard lesson to learn
