Versatile Vehicle
Big and not as easy to turn/park as a regular car. It has great visibility in all directions from inside. Love the adaptive cruise(and emergency stopping), lane assist, BLIS package, heated steering wheel and backing/hooking a trailer. I have the Lariat with the 502-A package plus all the "bells and whistles" options. The power steps are fantastic for my 5'2" 91 year old mother to get in/out too! I feel much safer driving the F-150 than my 3-series BMW.

2018 F 150 XLT 2.7 Eco Supercab 24,000 miles
Good solid truck. Have had vehicle for ~18 months and put on 8,000 miles. So far no issues. I have tow package and have used it to haul trailer w/motorcycle. Truck easily handled towing duties. Rural driving averaging 23 mpg, when towing 15 mpg. Supercab is functional as can carry 5 passengers for short trips, but long trips will only carry 1 passenger comfortably plus dog with back seat bench in up position. At this point highly recommend 2.7 eco boost. My brother in law has 3.5 eco boost and is of similar mind. Note my truck has 6.5 ft bed not 8 ft bed. Owned for 3.5 years, have ~24,000 miles. Gas mileage suburban driving average 25 might. Highway at speeds 65 mph or greater 23.5 mpg, towing 8x5 foot trailer averaged 16.5 mpg. No sihnifiant mechanical issues. Last oil change mechanic advised that rear shock absorber may be leaking and may need to be replaced. Have ordered shocks and will DIY replacement. Am very happy with truck. Truck has almost 30,000 miles. Had to change rear shocks as one of original factory installed shock started leaking. Also drained transmission fluid and this noticeably improved up/down shifting. Am continuing to get 25+ miles per gallon in mostly rural driving which includes bed loaded with brush/ firewood. Remain happy with truck.

Mr f150
Hi I am a ford guy I have owned my family has owned 10 through the years. My first brand new f150 was in 2014. This truck had a 5.0 and drove like an American dream! I was hit from behind very hard and bent some things. I put sixty thousand miles with one issue which the dealer repaired and that was the water pump failed. I decided to trade it in after the shop repaired the damages. I purchased a 2018 f150 5.0 with a councel and 10 speed transmission. At 2500 miles I changed the oil because of idle time. The engine started to make a typewriter noise and the steering pulled to the right. The claimed the steering was out of align and they fixed the problem. Than the engine noise is common and not to repair. 10000 miles there is a cherp at idle and it burns a quart of oil every 2500 miles. They make the repairs and still has a typewriter sound. Ok the steering wonders and I talk with the sales manager and he tells me to buy new tires keep in mind not even 11000 miles plus the truck was 45000 dollars. I hit a bump and there is a squeaking noise they will not acknowledged. The auto start stop feature puts in a slight miss from time to time. The dealer has had to flash the transmission because it can not find a gear from 3 to 5th. If you roll the windows up turn the radio up hold the steering wheel at 10 and 2 the truck handles nice and sounds good. Ford broke my heart

2018MY F150 XL Sport, Less is more
For starters, I am a no frills kind of guy who does not need or want all the bells and whistles. Thus why I gravitated to the XL sport. Did not want a 10 speed. Works on a bicycle, but do not need all those gears on a light duty truck, rather let the engine hang a gear as opposed to shift all the time. So to get the 6speed, had to get the 3.3L. No regrets there, did not want turbo anything, and did not want a thirsty V8. If you are in the market for just a truck and not masculine over compensation, 3.3L will get the job done. Good for the occasional light trailer <5000lb, but I do not think you can tow much more. Fuel economy has tracked closer to window label, rolling average of 20mpg and is a 4x4. My drive is about 50/50 city/highway. See if it gets better in summer, my experience thus far has been winter only. I would absolutely recommend this configuration of F150 to anyone, could not be happier. First purchase in a while I had no buyer's remorse and yes I am frugal.
