First F150, second owner, very impressed
Traded a brand new 2015 Silverado for this black metallic LIMITED, had 39000 miles and an expensive locking metal rolling bed cover. Overall, it’s a very handsome, tall truck, 22” rim makes it appears like a tall lady standing on heels. The downside compared to a Silverado was quickly obvious: the front doors are designed in a way that the excess sheet metal around the lower edge and corners would vibrate when you shut the door! It literally sounds like a 70s truck door! The massive leather seats are way too big than necessary and they shake as you go over bumps. Sync One is notoriously slow. However, the SoNY sounds incredible, has an amazing soundstage to it that other brands don’t have. The bass was well defined and not just punchy. I really miss the Sony sound! Ecoboost first gen was fast and worked perfectly. The metal bed cover made huge noise so that ruined the ride but I was able to imagine the truck being very quiet without the stupid $1000 bed cover. I miss the 2011-2014 generation design, it felt heavy, still feel like a truck before all the aluminum came. If you can find a 2013 and 2014 V8, or a Harley Davidson, get it!
