Used 2010 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
2010 F150 Platinum 4x4
Love this truck. Shopped all competitors and Ford won. It's a daily driver downtown and an off-road vehicle on the weekends. Whether running clients in suits to the airport or loading a wild boar in the bed, she gets the job done. Can't tell you how many people have been impressed with it.
Replaced My Tundra
After my 08 Tundra was totaled in an accident I went shopping for a replacement. I wanted another Tundra, but when the dealership pressed too hard, I went to Ford. When comparing the spec sheets, Ford simply had more of what I was looking for in the right price range. I always like the looks of the F150 better anyway, and now it is competitive on safety. After 3 months with this truck now, I love it. It's my daily commuter as well as a true 2nd family vehicle and big enough to carry the whole hunting crew and all of our equipment.

2010 Raptor
Outstanding ride for a truck with 35" tires - shock absorbers on this truck are amazing. Rides like a 1971 Coupe de Ville. A little wiggle from the big tires once in a while but I'm very impressed with the ride. Suspension is what this truck is all about - and this truck's suspension is the REAL DEAL. Have driven/owned all of the competition (including imports) and this truck is hands-down the most solidly built. Great brakes. Acceptable power. Acceptable gas mileage for a truck of this size & weight (got single digit mileage in my last GMC 4WD). Definitely the truck you would want to be in if you're unfortunate enough to be in a serious collision. Highly recommend this truck.
2010 compared to 2007
Lease period over on my 2007, purchased a 2010, exact same model. The 07 was 100% reliable, zero problems in 60,000 miles, was very happy with it. The 10 interior looks better than the already good looking (for a truck) interior of the 07. Best looking interior of all the half-tons in the truck market. However, the 07's controls and gauges were better ergonomically. The 10 has a more solid and quieter ride especially over dirt roads and off-road. The 6 speed is flawless. Very smooth and quiet shifting. I hope the expected mpg improvement is there too. Over my same regular commute route, the engine in the 10 seems to be running at less average rpm than the 07 so the mpg s/d be better.
Ford Quality
The 2010 Ford F-150 is by far the best truck that I have owned and driven. Everything Ford has said about this truck is on the money. I bought the XLT with the 5.4, 3.73 gear and max tow package with tow mirrows, sync, and rearview camera. With only 1500 miles on the truck I am getting 16 to 17.5 mpg on the highway and 14 to 16 mpg in town. It is the quitest truck I have driven and has a excellent ride. I have towed with this truck and so far the truck has performed great with excellent power.
