Only had truck for 2 weeks but already have 2,500 miles. I never liked Ford's interior until the 09 rebuild. Far better materials and look to the interior. Truck rides very well on the highway and in town. I'm surprised at how maneuverable the SuperCrew is in town. Hauls and tows with ease. I regularly haul 800-1,600 lbs and this truck makes it easy. The gas mileage has been impressive (to me) with 17 in town and 22 on the highway. I have a light foot but drive 70-75 mph on the highway. The bailout (or lack thereof) had a little weight on my decision but it wasn't the main factor. This is the first Ford product in my family and so far I'm impressed.

Always was a Chevy man but wanted to take advantage of the end of year discounts. I thought long and hard and decided on the Ford. I always told my friends I'd never have one, but after 7000 miles, I will NEVER own another Chevy. This truck has got to be the best built pickup I've ever owned. It's a little lacking on HP but I can tell you, it's not enough to bother me. I tow 7000+ lbs with this truck regularly and it will tote the load without much of a problem. Great job Ford, you've definitely gained a life long customer!!!

The big V-8 uses a lot of fuel but the truck is great.

Siox speed tranny is useless

This is my sixth F150 in addition I have owned two full size broncos. All had the 351 or 5.4 motor except one bronco had 1 400. I love fords, but this new one with a 6-speed transmission is aggravating. This thing shifts constantly in city driving. I wish i had my 2006 4-speed automatic in it.Driving up a slight hill in traffic the tranny seems like it slips, then it slams. It is far from smooth. You feel each and every shift no matter what speed. The interior is nice, this one has a floor shift, looks nice but you lose storage space...and you do not realize how much you used the floor in front of the console until its gone. I like it, I am praying for a service bulletin on the transmission.

I'm very satisfied with my Ford F150. I have taken a 600 mile trip, kids were comfortable and I average around 18-19 MPG. On the open highway 85 90 MPH is not a bad cruising speed in this truck. The rear seats legroom is plentiful, you can seat three across with no problem.
