Used 2002 Ford F-150 Regular Cab Consumer Reviews
Great truck and deal
Excellent truck for the money, and current rebates and cash incentives make it even more attractive. For those in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana area - there is an additional discount on the TX-OK-LA package.
better than my old F 150
for a six this F150 has pretty decent performance for my needs and the fuel economy has been acceptable too. It's been reliable and easy to handle in city traffic. I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a light duty truck.

I could not love my truck more!!
I’ve always loved trucks... how high up they are, the handy use of the bed for myself and friends, and the feeling of safety-not being in a small car. I first had a brand new Toyota 4x4, which was great but with little leg room. Then, I had gotten Ford f150’s, every few years, yet I needed a longer bed, and more room in the cab. I finally bought my 2002 Triton V8 extra cab, long bed, f150, when it was 3 years old, before getting divorced (we were able to share a vehicle for 10 years). It was my first used truck, out of 4; I was leery of not buying a new one, though it seemed like a great truck, and it’s given me 18 years of being an extremely reliable, enjoyable vehicle. It is presently 18 years old; I never want to lose this truck. It’s dependably has been beyond my expectations, and we’ve been through a lot together.... the divorce, driving home from brain tumor diagnosis’, numerous clear MRIs, trips up north, driving home my precious newly adopted animals, rescuing animals off of the roads...along with being smashed into (2 separate times within 5 years) at full speed while sitting at red lights. That truck saved my life; it took the hits for me, while being turned into an accordion. When going around for quotes, to fix it, all but one said it was totaled (I seriously cried at the thought of losing my truck!) , and they stated that the ‘underneath frame’ (sorry... I’m a female;) stayed 100% intact being hit at 45 mph. They couldn’t believe it didn’t bend with that hard of an impact; they’d never seen that before. She was repaired and better than new. I was beyond grateful how she held up and has kept going strong. I’ve been through many ups and downs in life, as we all have, and I count on stability in at least one area of my life, this being my truck. Who would have known? I’m so grateful. I bought her for 17,000, and she’s priceless to me... my favorite color-estate green. She’s had minor problems here and there, but has had no major problems in all of these years, and I expect to have her for another 100,000 miles (188,000, presently). This was, no doubt, one of the best decisions I ever made, to buy this vehicle in 2005. Thank you, Ford!!

Best truck i ever drove !!!!
Solid Truck
Second owner, bought the truck used with about 40,000 miles. Just what I wanted: V6, floor mats, ground clearance (for a 4x2). The V6 has lots of torque. Wish that first was the old "bull low" that the pickups used to have. Four wheel disks, chrome wheels are a nice dress up on an otherwise plain Jane truck.
