It burns way too much Gas! It burns more gas then a pickup truck! I have a small 2.4L v6 with EcoBoost XLT and it still burns! I hate it wish I would have never got it!

Ok vehicle... Traded it off.. I did not like the ride.. Felt sluggish, especially towing.. I like a suv that rides like a 3/4 ton pickup.. Stiff suspension and solid axles.. Problem with the explorer.. Had it in 7 times to get the rearend re-aligned.. Every time the back tires hit a ice patch.. It pulled the rearend towards the yellow line (left).. Worse handling suv ever own.. My old 1996 explorer was a much better all around vehicle.. I will consider this vehicle as one never to purchase again having a rear independent suspension.. Which in my opinion is the worse sluggish ride you can have.. You buy a truck because it rides and handles like a truck.. If I was interested in a soft comfortable ride. I would be purchasing things like a ford fusion.

Bee hive noise

David, 10/10/2023
2019 Ford Explorer XLT 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

I bought my 2019 explorer XLT brand new and until now no problems and now have 45k on it. While on a road trip we started hearing what sounded like a bee hive around the dash area. The dealer diagnosed the problem being the cowling at the base of the windshield. Around $600 to replace. Upon inspection the rubber seal is rotten. An obvious poor quality and workmanship. This is my 5th and last explorer.

Comfortable, Fast, Stylish!

This is a ride that should be very high on your consideration list! It has every option conceivable and is so stylish they could've charged double and got it. Many people I run into mistake it for a Range Rover until they see the "Ford" badge. Also, many a coupe driver have mistaken it for a slow SUV only to be smoked by 2nd gear with 365hp on tap. In a more realistic setting you can pass cars on a two lane road like it's a breeze. It's really quiet with a "soundshield" acoustic front windshield and double paned glass side windows. The luxury is also outstanding for something so inexpensive. Heated and Cooled seats, Panoramic Roof, 3-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, Sony Audio, Auto Highbeams, Rear Heated seats, and I really dig the Red Contrast Stitching on the seats. I also love the second row heated bucket seats and the console in the center gives it a really upscale feel. Take a Sport for a test drive and you won't be disappointed.

Love the Ford Explorer Limited!

We traded our 2018 Ford Escape Titanium in for a 2019 Ford Explorer Limited, and we couldn’t be happier. The ride is nice, steering responsive, and all the unexpected bells and whistles have us spoiled already. The heated and cooled seats are really nice, but then we discovered that the seats also massage, which is an incredible feature due to our travel schedules! The leather is also so soft and supple. We have a steep gravel drive up to our house, and the AWD makes getting up it a breeze. The MPG is not bad for being a heavier vehicle and having a larger engine than our Escape. We get around 23 on highway. A feature that my husband likes is when using cruise control, it senses slower vehicles in front of you and will slow down until you turn your signal on and start to pass. All this is done without having to use the brake or accelerator. It also senses if you’re going over the center line or off the road and will vibrate the steering wheel. (Only when cruise is on.) There are many other features that we really enjoy, but too many to mention. We plan on keeping this beauty for many more years!
