Used 2013 Ford Explorer SUV Consumer Reviews
Towing Issues
I just bought a 2013 Explorer with a tow package with the intent of occasionally needing to rent a trailer as I had done with my previous vehicle (a 2009 Edge). I found out after the purchase that U-Haul has black-listed all model years of Explorer and will not rent towable equipment that will towed by any Explorer. This fact was not know by the dealer.

Outstanding
I have driven a lot of vehicles in my life and everything from a Range Rover to my first car, which was a vehicle sabre I’ve had Cadillacs. I’ve had Lincoln. I’ve had Mercedes. I’ve had you name it and when I got divorced, I couldn’t afford what I used to, and I ended up with this 2013 limited Ford Explorer and I have to say it’s probably been one of my favourite cars, I like everything about it had more to offer than my 2010 Range Rover I just got rid of it and I’m getting a new one. It had 280,000 km on it and I never had a single problem with it in the four years, I owned it , thanks Ford

Rock Solid
I got my 2013 Ford Explorer limited at 220,000km and now it’s at 285,00km still going strong and smooth. Few jobs done for brake rotors/pads and cv axle shaft that was not meant to be changed but mechanic deceived me to replace. Very reliable truck, my only concern is leaking sunroof when there is too much rain. Need to make out time to clean the clogged roof drain. Lovely truck.
