Good results
I have owned an explorer for two years after buying it used. It has been a great vechile with good power, functional, roomy and no repair costs. I maintain the vechile with regular oil changes and the performance has been much better than my friends with Jeeps and Jimmy/Blazers.
Never Again....
I wouldn't recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a SUV. The ride is hard, the electronics are unpredictable and the gas mileage is something like 10 mpg highway AND city. There's always some kind of moaning, groaning, scrapping or rubbing sound going on as you roll down the street. The Ford mechanics are clueless when it comes to repairing this thing so they have taken to lying about repairing items that they have not.

Very relaible SUV. No major repairs in 11 years and 150,000+ miles. Some interior noise from frame stretching, flexing, but rare.
