2024 Escape was sold with dangerous defect

My brand new 2024 Escape Hybrid started to break down while driving at high speeds (on the interstate) causing a very hazards condition. The first repair they replaced a sensor, which did not fix the problem. The second repair, they replaced the entire gas tank. I subsequently found out that there was a service bulletin for this defect that was outstanding at the time I purchased the car. This really shows a lack of concern on the part of Ford for the safety of their customers.

Battery issues, wind noise, great summer MPG

The main headline is battery drain. The car will go into a power saving mode that eliminates interior lights when entering at nighttime, door handle sensors, remote start, radio stopping as soon as your shut the car off (instead of waiting until you open the door) etc etc. The source of the problem is unknown, however, some online think they've equipped these cars with too small of a battery. I'm about to be in the shop a second time for battery issues, which would make it its 3rd battery in just over a year and a half if they swap it out again. This vehicle is great for MPG in the Summer (low 40s) but in the high 20s/low 30s for MPG in the cold winter. I've been frustrated by wind noise by the driver side mirror that I was told was "normal" by service dept at dealer and I had to take things into my own hands by wedging the rubber piece off an old wiper blade into a vertical mirror crevice. I would highly recommend the car if it weren't for those two pesky problems with noise and battery issues.
