Ford Edge Great Car
After leasing 2 Mazda CX9's I decided to try the Edge after studying reviews and checking it out for several years. It has met or exceeded my expectations relative to the fine CX9 in every way. The drivetrain and across the range torque feel nearly identical to the Mazda. The gas mileage is a tad better given the slightly smaller size. However the Edge has more body and storage space due to a less sloping design. I like the additional headroom and knee room , and the seats are as good as the CX. The infotainment system is easier in the Ford and the brakes are much stronger. The fact that I could get a heated steering wheel as a standalone option in New England was nearly a deal breaker! Like many manufacturers, Mazda forced me into a sunroof trim to get this feature. I have no use for a glass roof and much prefer the headroom and the $1500 savings. The fact that Ford was offering incentive pricing on the 2022 (and 2023) Edge and includes 2 free oil changes were 2 more influencers. Did I forget to note the better crash test rating by NHTSA for the Edge(5 Star Frontal vs 4 Star Frontal)? All in all a great vehicle that even fits better in my 2 car garage.

Top of the line Ford Performance
Love the style and performance of the ST package. Interior is what I would call casual luxury. It meets my needs. The V6 engine was my main reason for getting the ST package. I'm glad I did it is fun to drive and it is quick. Really no complaints except that I noticed the gas mileage is about 3 to 4 miles less than my V6 2018 Edge SEL was. Although 21 MPG is not bad.

It's got it all..and more
My 2015 Edge was stolen. I thought about another used one. Or a different manufacturers SUV /CROSSOVER. I ended up leasing a new 2022 Edge. I have a big smile every time I get in it. From the off white leather interior, the comfortable seating and spaciousness, full ceiling slide sunroof, seat 3 in the backseat, and Cargo space are all wonderful. Heat and air conditioner are the best foe any vehicle. But the 12in. Screen is amazing. I don't like the auto stop engine and the auto lane, so I turn off . Mileage is 22mpg to work and home over curvy, mountain road. 29mpg on the hiway was amazing. All wheel drive is reassuring on the road too. Can't say enough..Fords are the best. I have mostly had Fords..starting in 1966 my 1st car '57 Ford Fairlane, then a '72 Mustang, a '80 Lincoln Towncar, ' 82 Lincoln Mark 7., '94 Explorer, 2000 Explorer, 2009 Lincoln Towncar. 2015 Edge and now 2022 Edge. Oh not to mention my '05 F150 long bed, and 2 Motorhomes that were both Ford E450. Fords truly make the best vehicles.

The PERFECT car!!
The size is perfect, controls are logically placed, mileage is as expected, visibility is great, performance is fantastic, and it looks nice too. Shame on Ford for phasing it out and not including an owner's manual.

Perky, cômfortable and Sassy
Ford actually did the right thing! They replaced my LEMON 2020 Explorer and gave me a NEW 2022 Edge...this little vehicle is SUPER. It handles great, much more spacious than I thought, plenty of Head and leg room, cârgo ârea holds large items. I initially thought the Edge too small, it isn't. Actually Ford hit a home run ..really like this vehicle..No complaints
A great sleeper
This is one fun midsized SUV to drive and own. No one realizes it is a 335 HP/ 380lb/ft AWD vehicle. I have owned mine for 6 months and the fit and finish are superb. It is quick, handles well for it's size and the brakes are magnificent. The upgraded suspension is more for the comfort side but has very little body lean in a corner. I live in an area with speed humps (wider speed bumps) and am amazed how well the suspension absorbs them. There is so much room in the Edge and the panoramic roof option feels like having a convertible without having to deal with hot/humid Florida air getting in. If you want that, the sunroof opening is huge. This isn't a vehicle for those that want a "look at me" status but you will have fun driving it and will surprise many from light to light even in stock form. Do go with 91 or above octane for peak performance although it drives just fine on 87. I'm averaging 21mpg with mine but it will drop off if you drive fast. Eco or Boost your choice. I suspect the upgraded suspension, brakes, cooling system and other goodies added for performance will make this a long lasting vehicle simply from an over engineered standpoint plus it is coupled to the 2.7 twin turbo motor that has done quite well in F-150s for many years.

Ford Edge Titanium
I have had this vehicle for less than a month. A better vehicle than my 2011 Edge. Interior is great with leather seats and a great radio. The acceleration is smooth and peppy. So far a SUV had met my expectations.
Scared to drive my Edge
I’m July 2022, I leased 2022 Edge SEL. With only 300 miles on it, it needs service all ready. 300 miles folks! Trans sensor issues, and issues to steering. I had a plan vacation I have to delay because my car will be in service to be repaired. Very dissatisfied.
