PIG IN SNOW
OVER THE LAST 15 YEARS I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT CROWN VICS BUT AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED IT IS A PIG IN BAD WEATHER?? EVERY YEAR THEY CLAIM TO FIX THAT PROBLEM, BUT NEVER DO. MY SON JUST TOTALLED THE CAR LAST WEEK, ALTHOUGH HE WAS NOT SPEEDING, IT WAS RAINING AND THE CAR FISHTAILED WHEN HE STEPPED ON THE BRAKES!
Great Car for just $1,000.
I've been driving My Vic for a lil' over 2 years now, paid a $1,000. The only real expense was for tires and had to change out the O2 sensors. Gas isn't too bad; I average about 22 to 28 miles per gallon combined. For a 13 year old car how can anyone complain? The car does smoke a lil' if I slam on the gas but like I said it is 13 years old. Over all an excellent vehicle.
Happy ford owner
I have 102000 + miles and the maintenance of this vehicle has been minimal. The only problem is with a wire that is attached to the starter that keeps breaking and I end up getting it towed to replace it. Check engine light a few times for pollution sensor that goes out..
If it's good enough for the cops!
My Crown Vic is the best vehicle I have ever owned. My wife has a 2000 Continental, and I prefer driving my Crown rather than her Lincoln. As my father-in-law used to say, "If it's good enough for the cops, then it's good enough for me." My only disappointment is the city mileage is low, but highway mileage is fine.
1993 Ford Crown Victoria
This car is extremely reliable, comfortable interior and all around good looks. The engine is extremely quiet yet responsive to this day, almost 10 years after I bought it.
