A great value
I love the sound this car's engine makes during hard acceleration! Just spent $600 on a new water pump (an inherent Ford weakness) and an oxygen sensor, but most of that was labor because every thing's shoehorned inside the car. Bought it with 64,000 miles in perfect condition, but I've skinned it up, mostly on steep driveways.
Power and Glory
The price is great for a used one; make sure you replace your water pump right away, the car is great except for that maintenance issue. Very very fast, sounds sweet and seats have thick leather and feel grippy. Fantastic mileage on such a fast car. Everyone talks about this car when you take it somewhere, it looks awesome. Does have some squeaks at 76k miles, handling is very good and dependant on quality of tires. Upgrade or use factory parts with maintenance and not discount parts and you will not experience issues like others in these reviews. Also who cares about cupholders, if this is a big issue for you buy a minivan not an SVT.This is a 4 door mustang GT. Well executed car by SVT.

Ford contour svt
This has to be one of the best cars I have ever had. This vehilce is comfortable and always reliable. I have had it for alittle over a year and I don;t want to get rid of it. I have been searching for more to locate, but i cannot find any. This car is unique and it is nice to have a car that is fast, reliable, comfortable, and everyone doesn't have around town. Thank you ford!!
Fast, Fun, and Fantastic Value!
Forget what you think you know about the Ford Contour. The Contour SVT rivals BMW 3 Series in handling, and I personally have blown a few away through the twisty curves. An understated outward appearance makes it even more fun!
this car sucks all the way around
I purchased this car from car max. It shuts itself off when I am driving it. Ford won't fix it or even admit that it has a problem. I even wrote to Ford twice and they blew me off. The check engine light comes on all the time for no reason. I just ignore it, now. It does NOT come on when the car shuts itself off. The Ford dealer implied that since I am female, I don't know how to drive standard shift cars. I have been driving standard shift for 30 years. I can't think of one good thing to say about this car. I'm going back to Honda
