Love my truck,alot of fun to drive.Had a 2003 Ram with a v6,don't buy a v6(no power with AC on)V8 is the only way to go.

This Ram 4WD is one fun piece of machinery. I've got the off-road group with the HEMI and the thing has exceeded my expectations with its off- road performance. Its been able to keep up with a friend's Jeep Cherokee (with a 3" lift and some fat tires) in some muddy spots. It performs well on the road as well. Love feeling that 345 horse power under my right foot. My only complaint is that the thing loves the gas as just as much as I love the beer. But I guess I knew that before I bought the thing. Still a great buy and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a bad-ass truck.

The Ram1500 4wd is the the best truck i've ever owned. Been a GMC man most of my life but switched over after driving my cousins 2003 Ram 1500. This truck not only looks better than the competition, it outperforms them too. I went with the 5.7 liter HEMI engine, which simply blows the competition away. This truck is just fun to drive. Like to take it off the road occasionally also. Performs well there too.

This is by far the best truck that I have ever owned! The truck is very fun to drive, and the hemi engine is amazing. The brakes have excellent stopping power and feel, as they are the biggest in the trucks class. Build quality is great, and the cab is very roomy. Fuel mileage is better than I expected on the highway, and ok around town if you can keep your foot out of it!

After 20 years of loyal Ford ownership, I decieded to take a look at other truck manufacturers because I just didn't like the look of the new regular cab f-150. Decieted on Dodge over GMC/Chevrolet after test driving all three. The interior of the Ram feels much more spacious than the other two, which is good because I'm a big boy (6'3", 280lbs). I also like the agressive exterior looks. The Ram just looks mean. Besides the good looks, what really sold me was the power of the HEMI engine and the way the Ram handles. For such a big truck this thing can is quite nimble and it also has great breaking ability.

The 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4wd is simply the best truck on the market in my opinion. I chose to get the HEMI engine because it simply outperforms the competition. Ford, GMC, and Chevy cannot keep up with my Dodge. I test drove all 4 U.S. Mfg. trucks, and it came down to the Dodge Ram and Ford F- 150. The Ram's HEMI engine simply outperformed the F-150's 5.4L Triton engine. I also liked the Rams exterior appearance much better than the F-150's. The only thing that kept Ford in the running was it's interior features. But in the end, the Ram's features outshined the competition. This is one great truck!

The truck is great. Plenty of power and it's a good looking truck. The HEMI engine is thirsty, though. People say I get good mileage at 15-16 but EPA estimated it to be higher.

Strong truck (have carried literally a ton of material when doing a major home renovation), 4.7 V8 is plenty powerful for me. Towed the biggest trailer U-Haul has with ease. Handles and brakes surprisingly well, especially given size - it's even nimble. For example, somebody cut me off hard on the interstate one day and I was able to brake/swerve to avoid an accident with little difficulty. Very pleased with the vehicle. Very drivable vehicle.

Hey there truck buyer! Let me tell you I love my Dodge.Why? One word, Hemi! Wanted a standard cab, a short bed, a 4x4, a Hemi, didnt care about all the frills just the thrills! Who cares about gas mileage when you love to hammer down. I don't really have to drive far to go to work but I sure do like driving to work more than I used to.Only 22000 miles put on by the first owner he also added duel exhaust and flowmaster. Truck is like new. I traded in a 1999 ford f150 5.4 liter that was a real clean truck but the 5.4 cant hold a candle to this Hemi. I heard a 5.3 cDhevy getting down on it the other day, he sounded good but was going nowhere fast. Anyway it drives like a car, rides good, even though its 4x4

Bought the truck with the 5.7L Hemi and gas mileage is great. Getting between 18.5 and 19.9 miles per gallon highway driving between 60-65 mph. Climb any hill with ease and power to spare. With 55000 miles on the original tires I still have substantial tread wear remaining on the original tires, never had a vehicle with this attribute including Toyotas and Ford pickup trucks

I love this truck, just bought it a month ago and have already put 5000 miles on it, it rides great other than the seats that have no lumbar support. It has a gas sipping v-6 which by no means is slow, in fact I have outrun a 5.3 liter Chevy with it... And no one believes me. Oh well! It made a two hour drive to Austin and from there a 12 hour drive to Nashville! Not a problem whatsoever! It has the best air conditioner of any vehicle I have ever owned let alone been inside and this is vehicle number 11 for me! I cant think of much more about this truck because its a base model and didn't come with much, the only problem is during extreme rain it leaks under the dash a bit but I have vinyl floors

I bought the vehicle with 14000 miles on it. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, and I took it home to Atlanta every holiday I could. I beat the crap out of this truck, in the mud, WOT almost everywhere I went, music up all the way, in the mud, on the drag...er...highway, I was ROUGH on this thing. I had very few problems. The speaker on the driver door stopped working (probably my fault), and the tranny is starting to hesitate right after startup, but that goes away in 30 sec. All in all, this truck has treated me very well. It's never left me stuck, and though I still tromp on it (especially after adding CAI and exhaust) it is still very much alive and kicking after 114,000 miles.

With the hemi, it has great performance power. The larger tires stick to the road and handels better than brothers 2003 gmc truck, but harsh on bumps. Feels like muscle car when I want one and halls cargo when I need to. Easy to drive. I was not looking for fuel mileage. My 5.7 Hemi gets better than friends 4.7.
