I love my 1500 Quad Cab. The only downfall is gas mileage, but that was expected. Who expects big trucks to get good mileage and still be able to do the same work? Nobody. If you are looking for better gas mileage, get a honda civic.

Have only put about 1500 miles on my new truck so the honeymoon's still on. Love the way it handles for a big vehicle. Has all the amenities of a luxury car and feels like it! The only problem with the ride I found was a back end bounce on certain stretches of road at high speed. But I when I have some weight in the cargo bed the bounce goes away. The 4.7 V8 is enough power for my purposes. I am getting about 14mpg in gas mileage around town. It could be better but that's the price you pay for owning a big truck I guess. I think my wife likes the truck as much as I do. I get compliments about its appearance all the time.

I have had this truck for a year now. it doesn't have the 4.7, it has the 5.9. i love this truck. fuel economy stinks(about 9.9 in the city and 10.4 on the highway). stereo controls on steering column had to be fixed, door lock actuators on the back doors had to be replaced. other than that i really love this truck. tows really strong with the 5.9. it handles great on the street. a lot of room in the interior. looks great with the 20's on it. highly suggest this truck. always gets positive comments from other people.

The 4.7L V8 is a very refined, surprisingly peppy engine and he transmisson shifts very nicely. The truck handles like it's on rails. Interior materials are of much hihger quality than their FORD and Chevy counterparts and room and comfort are excellent. The 4WD system is simple and works very well. The Ram is a far superior vehicle to the Silverado 1500 or F150. The relative lack of power is more than offset by just about every other aspect of the vehicle. Also, the 4.7 is not at all weak. It may not work well for towing, but for everyday driving and hauling, it's more than adequate.

Dodge has made a solid and powerful truck. Sharp looks are backed up with a powerful 360 engine. I can't wait for the 1/2 ton with the new Hemi.
