Used 2015 Dodge Journey SE 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
2015 Dodge Journey - 2.4 liter model
It was unfortunate that I read the reviews after I purchased the vehicle. All the negative reviews regarding the 4-cylinder model are true. The salesman said they improved the 4-cylinder engine since the days I owned a PT Cruiser with the same engine. The PT ran great, but then add on the extra weight of the Journey and then you have problems, slow, slow slow. It seems it's on overdrive every time you accelerate. The price was right, the looks are OK for the price, but open the hood, everything looks like it's plastic, and Holy Cow, check out the location of the battery. I got what I paid for, I went cheap and cheap is what I got.
Dodge journey
Great car! The only thing I don’t like is the vision to see when you are driving, with all the seats up, it makes it hard to see out the back window and sides. Other then that, it’s a great car.

Budget and shows
Have driven less than 40,000 miles and had to replace an ABS sensor 3 separate times. Cut cost on dusk sensor to turn on headlights as well.

Great car until it hit 60k miles
I bought this car in 2019. At the time had 17k miles. Was a great car. The room in it is good for maybe a family of four. The backseat does not have enough room to fit a rear facing seat. When the car got to about 60k miles we started having a lot of issues. One issue continued even after repairing it numerous times and spending a lot of money. The started went out at about 69k miles. It started stalling and misfiring. This vehicle has quite a few open recalls as well. I wouldn’t recommend buying a Journey to anyone, unless you want the headache of costly repairs and not knowing if it will start or not. I would recommend people to stay away from it because it will not last long.
