Don't be lured in by the attractive features
Run away! Unless it's not important to you that your car starts reliably and you have control over the electronics system. If you're considering buying this car, do yourself a favor and Google TIPM. It's a pain in the neck at least, and dangerous at worst. I will never buy another Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep vehicle after seeing how they handled an electronic system that they know is defective.

And So On, And So On, And So On....
I'm not sure why I'm writing this review. It seems that all the other reviews pretty much summed up my problems already. When so many people have the same 2-4 issues, were are the recalls? We bought it around 85k miles, it died for good at around 125k. Here are the issues that I can remember: 1. New transmission 2. 2 calipers 3. Thermostat 4. Crank Shaft Sensor 5. Clicking noise in rear of cabin that couldn't be traced. 6. Eats breaks 7. 2 Cam shaft phasers 8. TIPM/Fuel Pump relay issues, that despite having the same TIPM/Fuel Pump Relay that Dodge recalled in other vehicles, wasn't recalled in this one. (I guess there wasn't enough crashes in the Grand Caravan to warrant a recall). The Cam Shaft Phasers were the last straw. Two separate mechanics told me it would be around $3k just for a maybe (could be more wrong once they got it apart), and that they'd recommend a rebuilt engine for that price. Despite still owing on it, we decided to cut our losses. We got a '04 Chevy Venture for $1000 cash with 180k on it that seems to be in better mechanical shape.

100,000 miles and no problems
I'm in the shop now waiting while my 2011 caravan gets it's 100,000 mile service. have not had to do anything other than routine maintenance-tires, rear brakes, rear shocks and a battery. It's due for spark plugs and a cooling system service today. Trying to decide whether to keep this van or looking for a newer model while there are available.

Converted my wife
My wife was 110% anti Minivan. I did so hard selling over the years to the mpg benefits as well as the comfort and convienences of a van. We purchased a 2011 grand caravan crew with the rear entertainment package. Our five year old daughter and my 10 and 11 year old nieces are in love. The most u here is can u start a movie. The comfort and refinement in the driver seat helps you forget u r driving a minivan.
