This vehicle is fun to drive and hugs the road at all speeds. It rides real smooth on open highway best. Shifting at high RPMs is smooth and powerful. Convertible model smart looking and by far the best design is the 1997. I will have no problem selling this vehicle when the time is right.

A wonderful, fun, reliable, roomy car. I love it and will buy another in a heartbeat. When broadsided by a BMW, it received little damaged, while BMW was totaled. It is the best car I have ever driven and I absolutely love it!

Good lookin', fun car that is reliable

We've put 82,000 miles on our 97 LXi with only a few minor problems. All in all, we have been very happy with it. We live in an area that experiences harsh winter weather. The car handles snow great...and, after years of all- weather driving, still not a single spot of rust! In fact, it still looks new and everything works as well as it did when it came from the dealer.

That's one fine car... what is it?

The car is beautiful. Always proud to drive it. It has been very reliable for us mechanically. Oxygen sensors have been the only mechanical feature of irritation. The steering is nice as long as you do not need to turn sharply. OK gas mileage (24) and acceleration could be better. Excellent stereo but factory speakers will always be sub par no matter what name is on them. The front end is the only exteral dysfunction. It is extremely too low. You do not let anybody drive it that cannot go slow up driveways and entrances. Have taken long trips and travels fine except for extreme road noise at freeway speeds.

Even though the car is really a Mitsubishi Eclipse with a Chrysler body it is a nice sporty, fast car. It handles really good, mine has 140,000 miles on it and it starts better in the winter better than my neighbor's VW.
