Used 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Pacifica
A very nice vehicle, roomy and full of nice features that make a ride in this mini van very comfortable.
Should have known better.
3530 miles on it and it died. 3-1/2 days at the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Why it it just die in the parking lot? We don’t know. Will it do it again? Maybe, we don’t know. I travel across the country twice every year and my car has to be dependable. I sold it at CarMax and bought a new Honda Odyssey. Buying the Chrysler was a very expensive mistake!

Switched from 2017 Touring L gas to 2021 Touring h
First I would like to compare with 2017 and 2021. 2017 doesn't have radio turn on/off button whenever turn on the car radio turns on with loudly and if you have kids sleeping they all wake up. Thanks to engineers they put it finally to 2021 2017: You can lock the car without any alert even if your doors open(Sometimes kids can push keyhob or leave the doors and windows open) I can't remember how many times we left door open during the night and our neighbors called us. 2021 they have not fixed it yet. Both 2017 and 2021 have good internal and external design. 2nd row stow and go not available for hybrid models. I am driving the car more than a month. I can say that 32 mpg does not look possible. My first drive I got 20 miles and used 15 miles on highway around 65 mpg. I got 30 mile once when I drive average 35 mpg, turned off AC, Headlights and even screen and dashboard lights. I gave up to charge it daily and waiting for warmer air to see ev performance. I haven't tried only hybrid yet once I got exact numbers I will share. You can barely get engine sound and it is V6. Great advantage when you compare with loud Sienna. Lastly 7.5K EV Tax Credit is really make the car more affordable when you compare with other brands.

Beauty is only skin deep
I leased a 2018 Pacifica Hybrid and I very much liked it. When the lease was up I decided to buy a new one. The 2021 I bought was almost identical to the 2018 I had leased, but the 2021 has been a real disappointment. The build quality was terrible (exterior panels didn't line up, interior stitching was crooked, upholstery was puckered, there were numerous rattles). When I took it to the dealer (Autonation Broadway Chrysler Colorado) I was told the issues were "normal" variations and were to be expected. After a few months the Uconnect media system broke and it took more than 2 months to get fixed. The software on the 2021 was also very different than on the 2018. The 2018 always ran on the battery until it was depleted and then switched to hybrid mode. So, on short daily trips you never used any gas. On the 2021 the car switches to hybrid when it's below 40 degrees, or the heater is turned on, or the air conditioner is turned on, or you accelerate onto an expressway. In other words, it rarely ran in all electric mode. Not much need for the "plug in" capabilities and not much real efficiency. Then there were two recalls that I was told needed to be addressed. Uncomfortable with the Broadway dealer I took it to Autonation Arapahoe Chrysler in Colorado for the recalls. When I got the vehicle back after two days the Hybrid functions had been delete from the Uconnect system (the E.Hybrid App was gone). When I called to complain they said I would have to make another appointment and they would need the car again for a "few days". When I asked to speak to the Service Manager, they hung up on me! This is my fourth Chrysler minivan, and it will be the last thing I ever buy from Chrysler.

Park my 2021 Pacifica hybrid and a parking lot of gravel parking lot that was on a hill and I pulled in the park when we went to leave I put it in reverse and took my foot off the brake my car rolled forward off the curb messed up my driver's side molding below the doors. My engine light was on for a while I called the dealership they said drive it for 5 or 6 days and it should go off she said it doesn't by then bring it in they'll put it on the tester
