Used 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Fwd 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Pacific-a driver's vehical
I am a true truck and SUV driver and was not sure if I would enjoy a vehical which takes on many 'car' like qualities. I, however, was greatly shocked by how I have quickly converted my way of thinking after driving the Pacifica. It is a dream to handle and adjust to what I am doing-loading my two large dogs in the back, driving a few friends, or just hauling stuff to work. I love it!
great wagon
drives like a car, firm and quiet ride. great body panel fit. big tires and wide track makes the car very stable. With the side curtin airbags it makes you feel safer with grandkids in the back. And it looks great!!

Fits the bill
This vehicle is a compromise between a sedan and a minivan for us.We make a long trip each year and have a lot of stuff to take with us. It is fun to drive, has acceptable gas mileage. We are averaging about 18.1 city and highway. It has plenty of cargo space which converts into passenger seats easily. We would buy again at this time, but we have only had the car about two months.
So far, so good
First Chysler but loved it the first time I saw it in an ad. Room for the whole family (mom, dad, and 4 kids) and the DVD player keeps them all happy on long trips. Gas mileage reaches 25 MPG on Wyoming/Colorado interstate, about 17 in town. Can tow trailer down the highway and still get nearly 17 MPG.
I LOVE MY PACIFICA
I LOVE MY PACIFICA. IT LOOKS GREAT. EVEN BETTER, LIVING IN WESTERN NY STATE WHERE IT HAS SNOWED EVERY DAY IN JANUARY, I FEEL VERY SAFE DRIVING IT. IT HAS HANDLED GREAT IN THE SNOW, I HAVE AVOIDED SKIDDING ON ICY ROADS AND IT STOPS ON A DIME. THE WIDE TIRES LOOK GREAT AND PERFORM GREAT. MY SON WANTS TO SWITCH VEHICLES WITH ME. HMMM- NO!
nice surprise
The base FWD car has all I need in options. It is a very solid and comfortable wagon (crossover?)..highway driving is very comfortable. Only 2 complaints... windshield defroster could be better- corners don't defrost and put a compass on the base model..don't need 2 clocks on dash or radio controls on steering wheel.
So far so good
Very nice car and, though expensive, a good deal can be had if you look around a little. Great to drive and lots of safety features. The blind spot people keep bringing up isn't a big problem if you set your mirrors properly.
Love my Pacifica
My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica is the best handling, most comfortable, a delight to drive vehicle I have ever owned. I especially find the most useful feature to be the moving map. I could not do without this item now that I am used to using it. This vehicle corners better than any vehicle that I have ever riden in. I would like to help design the exterior trim. This is the only item I would want changed on my Pacifica.
Questionable experience
The moon roof exploded and pushed the glass in small pieces up and out of the vehicle. Glass came back into the vehicle. The dealership was not concerned with safety. They were unable to understand the safety concern. A 2nd moon roof was installed. The weatherproof strip buckled in less than a day. The dealership could not explain the previous so we were concerned this buckling may create the same accident. The owner of Norco Motors Pacifica moon roof has no signs buckling. A 3rd moon roof will be installed in the vehicle. They apologize that we feel unsafe. They are sure we are not. They cannot explain why it happened.
Well worth considering
Owned this car for 2 years. Drove over 2000 miles this summer on trip with wife and two small kids. Great ride, comfortable, not bad gas mileage and enough space. For the features and luxury, very good value. Fairly reliable, never stranded. Biggest problem has been air pressure monitoring system - replaced 2x. In single car accident and no one hurt - very safe. Car repaired and like new.
