Butane Blue Pacifica

The Pacifica is a classy, elegant car. It has great interior passanger space and is very comfortable for front and backseat passangers, adults in the backseat have more than enough leg room. However, it lacks cargo space when the third row seats are used, you can only get one carry on size rolling bag in the center of the cargo space because the back end of the car is curved. The drive in the car is a very smooth ride, but the "blind spots" are very large, making changing lanes and backing up harder.

Fits the bill

This vehicle is a compromise between a sedan and a minivan for us.We make a long trip each year and have a lot of stuff to take with us. It is fun to drive, has acceptable gas mileage. We are averaging about 18.1 city and highway. It has plenty of cargo space which converts into passenger seats easily. We would buy again at this time, but we have only had the car about two months.

First Chysler but loved it the first time I saw it in an ad. Room for the whole family (mom, dad, and 4 kids) and the DVD player keeps them all happy on long trips. Gas mileage reaches 25 MPG on Wyoming/Colorado interstate, about 17 in town. Can tow trailer down the highway and still get nearly 17 MPG.

My Pacifica

I have the FWD Pacifica and the ride is extremely comfortable. I have ongoing medical problems with my lower back and a major nerve on my right side and have been able to travel long distance, arriving at my destination feeling better than I did in the vehicle it replaced. The ride is smooth and it does not hesitate when the speed is accelerated. This is the best auto purchase I've made to date.Stabilizer very effective for driving in rain and especially in snow. I live in the mountains and it handles the different terrain as if it was on flat land. Finally, this vehicle offers a smooth ride and very good performance.

I am very pleased with the performance of this car. I have not had a single problem. Quality of workmanship and design is excellent. Handles well on the road and you sit up like a SUV.

I bought my Pacifica as a business car to replace a 2001 Buick LeSabre. I'm in sales and spend a lot of time in my car, 25K to 30K annually. I'm also a big man and needed a car big enough to feel comfortable in for so many hours at a time. Pacifica gave me all the room I needed, both laterally for hips and shoulders, as well as lots of leg and foot room. I can extend my left foot under the brake pedal and lock my left knee straight out. Not bad room for someone 6'3". Interior wise, there's as much room across the front as my LeSabre. Front passenger leg and seat room are also outstanding. Back seat room in the bucket seats is amazing.

My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica is the best handling, most comfortable, a delight to drive vehicle I have ever owned. I especially find the most useful feature to be the moving map. I could not do without this item now that I am used to using it. This vehicle corners better than any vehicle that I have ever riden in. I would like to help design the exterior trim. This is the only item I would want changed on my Pacifica.

Questionable experience

The moon roof exploded and pushed the glass in small pieces up and out of the vehicle. Glass came back into the vehicle. The dealership was not concerned with safety. They were unable to understand the safety concern. A 2nd moon roof was installed. The weatherproof strip buckled in less than a day. The dealership could not explain the previous so we were concerned this buckling may create the same accident. The owner of Norco Motors Pacifica moon roof has no signs buckling. A 3rd moon roof will be installed in the vehicle. They apologize that we feel unsafe. They are sure we are not. They cannot explain why it happened.

Owned this car for 2 years. Drove over 2000 miles this summer on trip with wife and two small kids. Great ride, comfortable, not bad gas mileage and enough space. For the features and luxury, very good value. Fairly reliable, never stranded. Biggest problem has been air pressure monitoring system - replaced 2x. In single car accident and no one hurt - very safe. Car repaired and like new.
