love this car. It has such power. A little slow at first but once it gets going it rips. Three people in my family have 4 door blazers from years 96-2002. I feel like the king since mine is so much larger. Great car overall I have owned the car for 4 days, I am scared to fill up the tank! Thanks GM.

I wanted a bigger vehicle to use for hauling all my stuff and people. The third row seat can actually handle two full size adults, unlike my uncles lame Durango. The in-line six engine is smooth and powerful. I successfully pulled a car trailer with a Camaro on it from Kentucky with no problems. It was like the trailer wasn't even behind my truck. You will soon find my uncle's Durango on a Chevy dealers used car lot!

This is the 1st vehicle I have ever owned that has everything I wanted in a automobile. It has such a smooth ride and great interior room and comfort. The power is incredible for a 6 cylinder. Acceleration onto highways is more than enough. As for the "reviews" about poor handling in the corners, SLOW DOWN, your not at INDY!

So far an excellent SUV choice. Plenty of power and responsiveness with a very good ride. Gas mileage could be better, then again it's an SUV. No problems other than cheap radio preset dials, the black peels off over time, but is covered under warranty. We ordered our loaded (leather, 6 CD, sunroof, etc.) and it certainly feels like a luxury SUV, but without the debt.

I've had my Chevy TrailBlazer for almost two years now and I do some really heavy driving. Not only has my TrailBlazer been outstanding in the 52,000 miles it has taken me it gives me a sense of security while I'm on the road. My TrailBlazer is not equipped with OnStar but its powerful presence and large stance makes me feel empowered on the road.

This is just an amazing that really topples the competitor. Size, Comfort and Reliability is out of Question. On its third year, you look everywhere and you will see Trailblazers. First year could be a hiccup but over the years, they just keep on improving. I am puzzled why other owners have issues and problems with it. Maybe they just don't know how to take care of this lovely machine . Keep in mind that they are machines, and their performance depend on how the owners run it. As they say, show me your car and I will tell you what you are ..

very pleased with car compared to previous Blazer s-10, got rid of it in 2.5 years. problem with keyless locks was repaired quickly by dealer replacing rear hatch lock control module. no other problems experienced. love this car. usually keep cars 10+ years and see no reason this should not be a keeper.

Even though I have only had my truck for 4 months, I can honestly say that it could possibly be the best vehicle I have ever owned. I went from a 98 GMC Jimmy to a 2003 Trailblazer LT and can't even tell you how much my new truck drives like a luxury car. I can even say that I think the bodystyle looks better on the Chevy than it's sister vehicle the GMC Envoy. Simply said, "I love this Truck"!

...and I couldn't be happier. The power produced by the TB's inline-6 is awesome. Toying with other comparable Jeeps and Fords is quite fun. The ride is so smooth, too. The Bose Sound System is quite an improvement to the "premium" system in the 90 Blazer. Cargo room with the rear seats folded down and inside room as a whole is noticeably larger. The 22-gallon fuel tank is a plus. When driving at highway speeds, you can get 450-500 miles to a tank of gas. One minor thing is the fuel efficiency when using cruise control--avg MPG about 1-2 MPG less than when driving with CC off compared to with CC on.

I bought the Trailblazer because it is a great looking SUV. However, I have had several electrical problems. The rear brake lights went our 6 times. The dealer changed the module 3 times before they were fixed. The "Check Engine" light came has come on 3 times. The driver's side mirror never returns to the proper position. The driver's heated seat module had to be replaced. The rear window washer hose has developed a kink in it. The rear seats are very uncomfortable and the driver's seat lacks support. The vehicle has deprieciated much faster than I thought was possible. My three previous SUVs were only in the shop for warranty work once, to repair a fog light that had burned out.

I love my 2003 Trailblazer, but I just discovered that my front bumper, just below my grill, is buckled..not bad enough for someone who isn't looking for it to see, but I noticed. I had heard that some dealerships had some come back for this problem, mainly due to the heat, so I checked mine and sure enough it was there. I took it to the dealership today and there is nothing that can be done. I was told that it probably would not get worse. I called Chevrolet customer service just to voice my concern. Just for your info!

I LIVE IN UPPER NORTHERN WISCONSIN, AND I HAVE DRIVEN A LOT OF SUV'S AND TRUCKS IN MY TIME. I'VE OWN GMC, CHEVY'S & FORDS. I LOVE MY 2003 TRAILBLAZER. I KNOW THEY HAD ALOT OF PROBELMS WITH THE 2002, BUT MY 2003, I HAVED NO TROUBLE WITH IT EXCEPT FOR A RATTLE THAT I HAD FIXED. THE 2003 HANDLE GREAT. I LOVE DRIVING IN THE SNOW WITH MY TRAILBLAZER. THE ONLY PROBELM I GOT WITH THIS VEHICLE IS THAT THE RESALE VALUE IS CRAP. BUT YOU GET THAT WHEN YOU BUY AMERICAN. MY RECOMMENDATION FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A SUV. BUY THE 2003 TRAILBLAZER, NOT THE 2002

No problems as of yet. Great performance and ride is great. Always had a Dodge before but Durango way too expensive and a gas hog. Comfort is important to me ( 6'4" 300lbs) and this sure beats the Explorer that I tried. Gas mileage is very reasonable and I love the power. LOve the standard towing package that comes already with the vehicle. Interior finish is a little tacky but I can live with it. Love the style.

After one year with my Trailblazer. I still look outside and admire its styling. When this SUV came out in 2002. It looked like a vehicle that was capable off road as well as a sporty cruiser around town. My family of 4 fits well in the Blazer. But, for me its a family vehicle that looks youthful and sport. Outside styling Great Inside Styling Functional

We received the vehicle and the bolts came off a electrical module connected to the engine. There were several rattles not yet fixed or found. The steering wheel was crooked and the dealership tried to say it was because all roads slanted to the right. There is a loud rattle in the engine when the vehicle is switching out of 1st gear.

I always wanted the smaller model SUV Blazer but when the Trailblazer came out, it was more of the size I wanted. I knew what the gas mileage was, but wanted a 4x4 and not a front wheel drive car, we already had a 4x4 Chevy truck, so wanted something other than a car. Excellent Choice, would do it again.

This is the third SUV we've owned. The first was a Grand Cherokee and then a standard 4-door Blazer. This is by far the nicest family size vehicle we've ever owned. We are amazed at the roominess in the third row seats. You really can seat 7 full size adults in this vehicle, just like Chevy advertises. The performance and handling are superior to every SUV and pickup we've ever owned. The interior is well laid out and well put together. All in all, a joy to own and drive, so far.

My Trailblazer is probably the most comfortable truck I have owned. Others who have driven in it with me have also remarked how comfortable it is. I would like to see a more chic, sporty stereo system panel in it. It has the basic panel which all the Chevy trucks have. It runs fantastic. Gas mileage is better than other SUV's but could be better. Quiet engine and rides like a car, not like a truck.

This truck died with 800 miles on the odometer in the middle of my vacation. GM support and road service was pathetic and insulting. took them 4 days to fix the blown engine coil. On the drive home, the power seat switch stuck and forced my body into the steering wheel at 70mph. Last week during a trip to northern New York in a snow storm the 4wd switching system developed a mind of it's own switching in and out of AWD,2WD,and 4WD, 3 times my rear end kicked out and almost put me in the ditch. There also was a burning wire smell filling the truck.( I AM GETTING 12 MPG IN MIXED CITY/COUNTRY DRIVING IN 2WD AND 16 MPG AT A STEADY STATE 65MPH (EPA IS 15/20)

The TrailBlazer is an all-around fun truck. They need to add more leg support. The drive seat, to me, is more like a bench seat from the 70's. On the long haul, they are very uncomfortable. Styling is great. The 2003 features are great (they cut back on the 2005 I found out). But I am trading it in for a LT EXT next week.

Purchased 3 months ago to replace my 15 year old SSE, and I can't get my wife out of the driver's seat. We have put 6800 miles on the truck and LOVE IT. Need to replace the '96 minivan now so the warranty does expire within 18 months. LET ME DRIVE THE TRUCK!!! Bose sound system is worth the $$$ esp. in DRIVER mode. Have had one mechanical problem to date: Pressure switch on AC, shutdown compressor on a hot day. Minor trim issue on rear hatch. No rattles - SOLID. Not as much storage behind 2nd row (w/3rd row flat) as most minivans, but it is what it is, a mid-sized SUV. Being 6'6", there is plenty of room up front. Have gotten 21 mpg on highway.

Ride is smooth, the power is great, sound system is really good. The comfort level of the leather interior is excellent. Itt's very roomy inside and all the buttons are in the right place. It's a blast to go from 55 to 90 with a stomp on the pedal on the highway. What a difference from the old blazer which couldn't get out of it's own way.

The Trailblazer lives up to all the issues and recalls stated. I still have a tempermental AC, the driver door hinges have broken their weld (in shop for 5 days now) Has anyone heard of this? (Chevy not concerned about this at all); the motor has a "click" sound, and I will never own another domestic car again. I have always been loyal to Chevy, but it's time to part ways. I'd sell, but gas prices are preventing that now!

In a little over 2 years, I have had all 4 window motors fail, the power driver's seat motor fail (glad I bought an extended warranty) and both tail light lenses replaced , which were on a recall. The ride is very comfortable, and the transmission is smooth. I would recommend the V-8. The inline 6 loses too much speed going uphill, as well as any incline. Overall, I have always owned General Motors products, but the experience I've had since owning this vehicle have made me realize why the American manufacturers continue to lose market share.

I've had my Trailblazer LT for over two years now, and absolutely love it! Since I wanted to keep this one for a while, I got it with just about every option available, and have appreciated them all...especially the steering wheel controls. I did lose the driver's window motor and A/C circulating valve early on, but both were fixed with no problems. The ride is smooth, acceleration nice...all around fun to drive. I have OnStar, but would have liked to have XM as the newer models do. City mileage is a little shocking at 14-15 mpg, but highway gets up to 21. As others have stated, the gas tank should be bigger. Thanks GM for an excellent SUV!

I purchased this suv 10/2001 and while it's fun to drive, powerful, very smooth, comfortable, and the look of the car is great, but unfortunately this is not a reliable vehicle. This car has been in the shop for a number of problems. I've had problems with the air condition, radio, dash, power windows, fuel filter, fuel gauge, gas tank, and starting problems. I took a chance on purchasing an American car, and I would be reluctant to do so in the future.

The Trailblazer is everything we were looking for in an SUV with the comfort of a sedan. The inline 6 cylinder engine has more than sufficient power even with the added weight of the EXT model. Every option you can imagine and still a relative bargain. A wonderful vehicle for the daily commute as well as weekend camping and boating trips!

We bought this SUV thinking it would get decent gas mileage and be great for the family. Space is nice and it is very comfortable but the gas mileage is horrible! We get about 11mpg in town and 12-13 on the highway! I haven't even had it for 1 year and am looking to sell. If you are looking for something that even gets remotely good gas mileage don't by this car! We had everything looked at to see if there was some sort of problem that caused the bad mpg and everthing was good to go, just bad mileage!

The SUV is not bad. The paint finish is not good. Too much orange peel. I have had a few minor problems. I am starting to feel and hear a slight clunk sound when I start out only after I apply the brakes to stop. I don't think it is the transmission, just sort of like something sliding back in to place. The gas mileage is very poor. I get around 15 in town and 18 to 20 on the open road. 90% of my driving is on the interstate, thank goodness. I am not sure that I will rush out and get another GM SUV.

Bought a new trailblazer and within a day the locks on the drivers door broke and the steering rack blew out, It looked great on the back of the tow truck though. I hope its a fluke but my confidence is shot!
