2021 Tahoe is a lemon

Leasing a 2021 Tahoe RST and have nothing but problems. Had the car towed into the shop the first go around with half of the engine needing to be rebuilt. All the service lights went off, shaking, rattling and knocking noise and wouldn’t drive. I’ve had the window cracked twice due to the cheap glass they are using. Second time the glass is no longer available so that’s fun. Now the car is leaking oil like a siv. This is the first and last American car I’ll ever buy. What a piece of trash.

constant clicking noise at the passenger dashboard area and ticking noise from inside cabin plastic covers ALL OVER the cabin , three weeks at the dealer without solution, took almost all metal clips away and fixed it with silicon and ducktape , will pay 3 more years for it and GET RID OF IT FOR SURE

What happened?

I am a big and tall guy and for decades the Tahoe was my go to vehicle for comfort. Not anymore. The door column intrudes way into the driver's seating space if you have to push the seat back more than half way. Its a very uncomfortable ride for me now. I also don't care for how much the hood impedes driver visibility. I didn't buy the car.

Service code at 500 miles

I have owned suburban for the past 12 years, decided to upgrade to The newly designed Tahoe. Very impressive in terms of luxury, handling and room. The only thing that is expected for first year Tahoe to have some flaws. Service code pulling up on the cluster to service steering column lock at 500 miles , scheduled for service this week hopefully it’s something easy will see..... otherwise we Love it.

Overall performance of my 2021 High Country Tahoe

BDuncan, 12/19/2021

I bought the first 2021 Tahoe that arrived in our city, and I regret it daily. Back bucket seat rattles, recall after recall, exterior mirrors not holding their memory, no heat in the winter, radio issues, headrest not going back to normal after folding the rear 3rd row seats, both having to be replaced.
