In family from age 0 to 16 hopefully…
Traded in my 2011 BMW X5 to buy 2014 Tahoe. At the dealership…the general sentiment was….check out that sweet X5. Have fun with our Chevrolet box…..Thank you. I will. Have fun with the ultimate breakdown machine. Almost 10 years later, 210,000 miles in, Tahoe is riding awesomely. Repairs were almost none until transmission and cable overhaul at 200,000 miles, that cost me $6,000. My last car payment on this 0% loan was in January 2019. So I am playing with house money. Mechanic told me to expect another 5 to 6 years with it. If I don’t want it, he will buy it from me. My hope is that my 9-year old daughter who used that car as a doll house for many years will learn to drive with it. Few minor complaints…top wiper speed is not fast enough for very heavy rainfall. Third row seats are heavy as F. Smaller dude or a female are screwed if they have to remove them or put them in. Overall, this is a simple, tough, reliable, and comfortable ride. I will drive until the wheels fall off. As a side note, I have a Tesla Y as my second car. Three years in, I can’t wait to get rid of it.
