Major Issue- Loss of Trailer Brakes Driving
I will start this review with, overall I LOVE MY TRUCK. This is my THIRD truck since 2020. HOWEVER, on the 2024 the trailer brake control system is worthless/dangerous and GM has STILL not fixed the trailer connector locations between the bumper and the bed. I am currently stranded in Tennessee with my trailer and my horses because the trailer brake controller is malfunctioning…for the SECOND TIME. This issue was addressed at 500 miles and fixed. When I pulled a different trailer the other day it went haywire again and I am getting “Check Trailer Wiring” and “Trailer Brake Connected” Trailer Brake Disconnected” messages EVEN WITH NO TRAILER ATTACHED! GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE or someone is going to get in an accident because it drops brakes without notice while underway. I will stress that each of the trailers I have pulled work FINE on other trucks, including my 2022 3500. HELP GM!

Should have bought a ford
Bought the truck with 17 miles on it and so far the dealership has had it more than I have… so dissatisfied I could spit.

Ball dragger
You will like it too much. If your a truck guy like myself, you feel like the king of the road. Truck drives exceptional, better than my old 2500hd. 445hp catapults the vehicle effortlessly. Dream truck!

GARBAGE
Do not buy. I've had mine for 2 1/2 months and it's been in the shop for a total of 4 weeks. It has major electrical issues. GM unwilling to compensate me at this time to rent another work truck and they don't even know when the problem will be fixed. At first they didn't have a fix, now they tell me they are sourcing parts. DON'T BE A SUCKER!
